Draught at Ølbaren, Copenhagengnoff (11234) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - NOV 6, 2012
Cloudy light amber color, with generous creamy head. The aroma is initially fresh and hoppy, although it fades away a bit. The dryness of the mouthfeel, and some crispy touch to the malt are very appreciated; the heavy hopping provides a nice initial punch, resiny, but also a harsh final, disturbing the senses.
Good, but it’s a bit too much.
Draught at The Rover, Göteborg, on November 3, 2012.Papsoe (25054) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - NOV 3, 2012
Cloudy orange color, creamy off-white head. Very pretty head, not so pretty color and a bit too cloudy. Citrus, hoppy scent, there’s a hint of sweetness as well. Bitter, grapefruit, citrus, hoppy taste. Lingering bitter grapefruit juice aftertaste. Spritzy mouthfeel, very high bitterness.
On tap. Hazy orangey golden with a white head leaving laces. Hoppy aroma but not particularly Simcoe super crispy fresh. A yeasty touch as well. Medium body, sweetish malty, distinctly bitter but completely lacking the aromatic qualities usually associated with Simcoe. 261012

Tap @ Fermentoren, Cph. Murky orange-yellow with a fine, staying, small, creamy, white head. Aroma is pleasant, citrus, pine, doughy malts. Medium carbonation, nice dry and light creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has good malts at first, then citrussy and piney heavy bitterness. Quite dry as well. A tad unbalanced but a fresh drink nonetheless.
