Pours like a champagne, nice and bubbly. Nose is of tart fruit, blackberry is well known. Light and crisp, with heavy tartness, and bursting with fresh blackberry flavors. 750 ml bottle poured a clear burghandy with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of blackberry, straw, citrus, acid and light horseblanket. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry tart finish. Bottle shared in the GTMW ticket line - Pours hazy purple/pink amber with a thin white head. Nose is pungent, with a bit of blue cheese funk, lots of blackberry. A bit of cheesecake. Taste is the same, real soft and fruity, lots of yeast, with a blackberry and apricot finish. Fluffy and soft in the mouth. Traces of tan head atop the dark body. Blackberries dominate the aroma and taste, imparting their delicate flavors which somehow turn more sour and intense as I keep drinking. Sourness and fruitiness intensify, turning into a magical creation.

Pours a nice purplish color, and a pinkish/off white head. Aroma bursts with fresh blackberry, yeast, light tart/funky character. Flavor is just juicy and so easy to drink. Courtesy of Dak. It pours purple-ish amber with off white head. The aroma is a yummy crumbled salty Feta cheese rimmed with berry fruit notes in the background. Around these notes are various levels of musty sour vinegar. Smells as if I’m going to really enjoy the flavor. Here goes, the taste is tart and running into an even mix of salty Feta cheese and smooth sweet to tart berry notes amid a thin layer of vinegar. Bottle number 114/857 fro, the March 2012 batch. Pours with a deep violet purple hued body with a frothy off-white head that slowly fades. From far away the room fills with the aromas of jammy fruity blackberries, a light earthiness and a vinous red wine (pinot-ish) aromas. On closer inspection there is some very bright fruit, medium funky brett. Light butyric. Low grain, very vinous. Flavors are very nice: jammy fruit, bright blackberry, good acidity, clean lactic and malic sourness. Very vinous, red wine like. Oak, tannic finish (berry and wood). Low phenol, medium-low funk. Very nice fruit character. Lactic sourness, no real noticeable acetic components. Cleaner and more berry forward than my homebrewed blackberry sour, but also less funky and acidic. Last bottle of the night...shared by Dak. Vibrant garnet/ruby/crimson pour with a sparse ivory foam. Bright berry, and all kinds: blueberry, raspberry, and blackberry. Pungent cheese, barnyard, funk, vinegar, and tart citrus. Nicely balanced. Delicious!
