This was poured into a tulip and treated as a wild ale. The appearance was a hazy dark woody orange color with a thin layer of white foaminess. Light messy lacing. The aroma takes on sharp bitter to sour citrus rind. Light pulp. Slight grassy bitter to sour hop oils concave into the beer nicely. The flavor takes on crisp sour to sweet clinging hop oil bitterness. Semi-dry balancing sweet to sour in the aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice balance between sipping and sessionable qualities. Low carbonation. Sourness feels good and sharp enough. Overall, really nice AWA that I could have again.

375ml bottle fromnSpirits Jackson. Aroma if brett, funk, wild flowers, yeast, sage, citrus, barnyard on the finish. Flavor is the same. Dry body throughout, medium body and fizzy strong carbonation. Great funky IPA.

Nickls (2523) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - AUG 19, 2016
Tap. Lightly hazy orange yellow, white head. Brett leather, juicy and piney hope presence in the aroma. Is this trying to be an amped up Orval but less yeasty? It fucking works. Leathery, hoppy, some pear and hay. Medium chalky body.

bleeng (1681) - Seattle still not near Beersel., Washington, USA - AUG 17, 2016
Bottle thanks to Ryan. Pours very fluffy with a nice brett nose. Flavor overwhelmed by brett but there’s a nice tartness to this too. Light body. Very drinkable.

Draft. Pours a medium, well retained, off white head, with Belgian curtain lacing, over a slightly yellow (SRM 3) body......nose is Brett, with barnyard funk, citrus tones, primarily lemon, slight dust, moderate acid......taste is moderate barnyard funk with big Brett notes, light sweetness, mild tropical fruit notes, with peach, mango, mild malts, no hops, finishing with moderate tart sour tones.......mouth feel medium body, light alcohol, medium carbonation. This is a nice Brett. sour, with complex aroma and flavor, as well as all sorts of tropical fruit tones. BJCP 8/3/16/4/7

glennmastrange (2854) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - AUG 6, 2016
Bottle. Moderate to heavy straw and hay for the malt, fresh cut grass and lemon peel for the hops, moderate barnyard and musty for the yeast, with coriander, ginger and unripe pear in the background. Head is average size, frothy, white with good but slippery lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is pale amber. Flavor starts faintly sweet and moderately to heavily acidic, then finishes moderately acidic and bitter. Palate is medium, dry, with a fizzy carbonation and a lightly astringent finish. This Sour Ale packs quite a punch, maybe a little over the top but there are a lot of good aromas and flavors in this beer.

rondphoto (4383) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - JUL 29, 2016
bottle @ The Beer Trappe / Lexington KY --- Aroma of tart citrus. Hazy medium orange amber color, ivory head that stays at one finger, strips of lace. Light malt moves smoothly to bright citrus hops and light carbonation. The sweet and bitter complement and support each other as they move to a lingering finish. A big brew with a light expression, if that makes sense. I can’t believe I’ve consumed this in five minutes! Great stuff. I will find it again.

4.3
jflopsu (1588) - New Jersey, USA - JUL 23, 2016
Pours a lightly hazy gold with white head. A citrus hop and fruit aroma. A nice mix of flavors for a hop head having a sour - citrus hops, light tasty fruit malts, and pine. A lingering bitter hop taste with some fruity malts.
