Bottle courtesy of a trade with robloc303 - marked 344. Pours a cloudy straw color with medium head and nice lace. Nose of grapefruit, lemon, tangerine, tropical fruit, horse blanket. Tons of grapefruit flavor, lightly tart, some oak. Really good brett fermented pale ale.

Cloudy orange color with big fluffy white head. Aroma and flavor have huge brett characteristics, grassy and earthy with some funkyness. Reminds me of a belgian saison with spicy yeasts. Very good overall

UPDATED: JAN 28, 2017 Bottle back in like Summer 2013 and again on draught at Row 34, 12/10/16.
Hazy, pale-blonde with light bronze tints and a wispy, white head atop showing moderate retention.
Very hop-forward nose, with tons of lemon, limeskin and pineapple, the Brett acids mixing in, as well. Not too twangy or Brett-dominated nor is it resinous, but its rather starkly acidic with very little in the way of backing maltiness. No alcohol and clean with a little sweat and funk.
Not as thin and overattenuated as the other Crooked Stave beers Ive had, but I still dont find it to be nearly malty enough in texture. Light, engaging carbonation and tons of citrus and tropical fruits with a touch of barrel tannin and light biscuit. Very dry, almost sharp on the end, with perfume-like notes emerging.

Bottle picked up while at GABF. Pours dark tan to light brown with big frothy foam that leaves heavy lace. Aroma is earthy, dank and musty with mild hay. Flavors are similar with great sweet pale malt. Finish is the best part with mild Brett and oak without the bitterness. Very nice Brett IPA.
