The taste is juicy, tangy blackcurrant, jam, Ribena, sherbet, wood, vinous, tart green apple and lemon rind with a dry, tangy finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. compared d’Plum next to L’Brett d’Blackberry - both 2013 vintages.
Plum: pours pinkish light red, no head whatsoever. Aroma of cherries, light stewed plum funk, blood orange juice. Light body, lightly sour, some residual fruit sweetness. Taste is a bit bland, but with subtle cherry notes. Nice beer. 3.6/5
BlackBerry: pours cloudy dark ruby red: incredibly and subtle cassis/BlackBerry aroma, with a clear cherry touch to it as well. Body is rounder than the d’Plum, and a tad funkier. 3.9/5 jtclockwork (16581) - , New Jersey, USA - MAR 5, 2015

Tasted on 10/27/13 from a waxed and capped 375mL bottle, big thanks to Curtis for sharing. Pours blood orange with no real head, but some thin, bubbly lace. The nose is strong, nutty brett funk with tart, fruity blackberry. The flavor is the same, really more focused on the brett with tart, sour blackberry, and a touch of lemon acidity. The body is medium, nice tannic structure, with very light carbonation and a long funky and sour blackberry finish. Dr_Fellini (1020) - Norfolk, Virginia, USA - JAN 2, 2015
