At my place with Taylor, Matt, Jacob. Pours rose red, almost no head. Aroma is tart, raspberry, jammy plumb, beautiful soft fruit flavors that are awesome. Taste is beautiful refined raspberries, blackberries, tang, hint of orange, very low acidity that makes it really drinkable. soft and awesome, love it. Bottle at Mikkeller&Friends - Thanks. Cloudy dark red - white head. High blackberries. Acid. Zesty. Citrus. Light malty. Spicy. Lots of dark berries. Oakey dryness. JBPortland (1543) - Hampton Roads, Virginia, USA - MAR 30, 2014
375ml bottle pours hazy pinkish violet with 1 finger head. Nose is musty tart berry and dusty barrel funk, oak, wine. Taste is tart crisp blackberry, grape, woody funk, musty wet barrel. Finish is tart with semi-sweet juicy berry notes and dusty wood, great funk. Fantastic! dfroms (477) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - MAR 26, 2014
Bottle via jbeatty, thank you! Pours a gorgeous blueish purple, like blueberry kombucha, with just a few bubbles. Aroma is lemon, muted blueberry, stone-fruit acidity, cinnamon. Taste is lemons and blueberries with minerality and a quick finish. Somewhat watery mouthfeel. Good but nowhere near the best I’ve had from Crooked Stave. jkwood04 (5448) - Connecticut, USA - MAR 22, 2014
375ml bottle in a tulip. Pours purple with an off-white head. Aroma of sourness/tartness, light oak, some blackberries, pale malts, and some fruits. Flavor the same with a cool blend. Average texture. A really good beer.

375mL bottle, sent from mista (thanks a lot, Geoff), pours a clear ruby red with a small beige head. Aroma brings out potent tart blackberries and some brett. Flavour is very similar, though the brett is perhaps more dominant than the nose suggests. Super fruity, jammy, and fairly bretty. Highly drinkable and enjoyable. djd07 (14495) - Houston, Texas, USA - FEB 27, 2014
Bottle. Pours a cloudy purple with no head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is strong brett and blackberry, oak. Thin mouthfeel with sour blackberry and light brett with lingering dry finish. Really enjoyed this one off. madvike (3260) - Middleton, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 25, 2014
Bottle shared by Tooch4321...thanks Adam! - Pours hazy purple amber with a thin tan head. Nose is sour and tart, with red grape, yogurt, and lemon. Taste is real yogurty, lightly fruity, grape and berry, with lemon and medium tartness. Pretty gentle, with medium and mellow carbonation. Pours a hazy purple with a small head and some spotty lacing on the glass. cpetrone84 (1810) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 10, 2014
The aroma is bretty & berry forward, lots of tart fruit in the aroma, some seedy berry jam and some dustiness. Pungent & inviting.
The flavor is tart with a lot of seedy raspberry and blackberry flavors... it’s nicely sour, very dry and has nice earthy notes. I’m a sucker for berries presented in this manner, so this is right up my alley.
I don’t believe that this is a shelf beer.
Pour is dark pink with a bit of a haze to it and a light pink head. Nose has a lambic note to it, a bit of barnyard funk, slight metallic twang, strong raspberry fruit behind. Taste isn’t quite as barnyard or as bright. Strong brett presence that gets a little muddled and brett is strong. Still a hint of barnyard, some dusty brett with a moderate amount of blackberry. Lighter body, fairly sour with a slightly puckering finish.
