375ml bottle in a tulip. Pours purple with an off-white head. Aroma of sourness/tartness, light oak, some blackberries, pale malts, and some fruits. Flavor the same with a cool blend. Average texture. A really good beer. AdamChandler (5051) - Enfield, New Hampshire, USA - NOV 23, 2013

A - Murky and deep purple in color.
S - Nose was tannic, ripe and musty. Sweet / tart but reminded me a lot of a blackberry reduction with tart lambic notes.
T - Pretty good. A lot more sour than any other L’Brett beer from CS I’ve had. A creamy backbone, lots of lactic acid but no traces of vinegar. The blackberries already being tart just made this a sour bomb.
M - Standard carbonation, medium, often champagne like with a swish.
O - Not my favorite of the CS beers but still quite nice and I’m glad to have more.
transparent chestnut with large bubbled white spotty head. Funky ash berry nose. Flavor thin but more focused, lactic berries with phenolic rubber hints, fruity but very thin, low carbonation, fruit skin all over. CanIHave4Beers (4184) - Pouring Bus, Iowa, USA - FEB 11, 2014
Pours a hazy purple with a small head and some spotty lacing on the glass. mathieuc (3990) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 21, 2014
The aroma is bretty & berry forward, lots of tart fruit in the aroma, some seedy berry jam and some dustiness. Pungent & inviting.
The flavor is tart with a lot of seedy raspberry and blackberry flavors... it’s nicely sour, very dry and has nice earthy notes. I’m a sucker for berries presented in this manner, so this is right up my alley.
I don’t believe that this is a shelf beer.
Bottle shared by Tommy, thanks! Pours a nice cherry red with a small white head that leaves nice lacing. Nose is of cherries and just really fruity. Taste is fruity, acidity level pretty good (not abrasive/harsh). Cherries again but they might have been blackberries too. Body was light, carbonation medium and mouthfeel juicy. Nice one!

Bottle at the parentals, split with the Wife. Pour is a beautifully purplish-maroon color with very little head, if any. Funky, cheesy, slightly acidic, jammy, raspberries, blackberries, urine, somewhat horsey, and doughy aroma. Taste is sweet fruity, very tart, plummy, red grapes, oak, dark berries, bkueberries, green apples, and red wine vingear - though not overly acidic. Light body with medium carbonation. A very sour beer, that maintains balance from the sweetness of the fruit. Well done. Minderbinder (3469) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 21, 2014
Pours hazy dark pink/reddish with low pink head. Aroma is of fruits, raspberries, blackberries. Taste is of fruits, acidity, raspberries, blackberries, sourness. Palate: Light body. Soft-medium carbonation. Dry finish. Overall: Very fruity. Sour. Pretty good, nice blackberries. Reynolds314 (3450) - Connecticut, USA - AUG 11, 2014
Pours a ruby purple color with pink head. Aromas are berries, sulfur, wheat, and bready malts. Taste is fruity tart and match heads. I guess I like match heads. jcartamdg (3436) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 9, 2014
