375 ml bottle shared with the group in December 2013. Pours a hazy reddish purple color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have a great tart/sour berry character, wood, funk, floral notes, mild acidity, very drinkable while still showing nice sour components. thomashall (994) - New Hope, Minnesota, USA - OCT 26, 2014

Bottle at the parentals, split with the Wife. Pour is a beautifully purplish-maroon color with very little head, if any. Funky, cheesy, slightly acidic, jammy, raspberries, blackberries, urine, somewhat horsey, and doughy aroma. Taste is sweet fruity, very tart, plummy, red grapes, oak, dark berries, bkueberries, green apples, and red wine vingear - though not overly acidic. Light body with medium carbonation. A very sour beer, that maintains balance from the sweetness of the fruit. Well done. Dogbrick (13012) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - MAY 8, 2014
Sample at Kurtkeller 011: Crooked Stave-tastic 01 on 05/02/2014. Hazy purplish-amber color with a medium pinkish-white head that burns away steadily. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of berries, oak and yeast. Light to medium body with a barnyard character and flavors of blackberry, funky yeast and malt. The finish is moderately tart with a berry and oak aftertaste. Pretty good overall. mathieuc (3990) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 21, 2014
Bottle shared by Tommy, thanks! Pours a nice cherry red with a small white head that leaves nice lacing. Nose is of cherries and just really fruity. Taste is fruity, acidity level pretty good (not abrasive/harsh). Cherries again but they might have been blackberries too. Body was light, carbonation medium and mouthfeel juicy. Nice one! beechner224 (1024) - Melbourne, Florida, USA - JUL 3, 2014
Bottleshare thanks to DrewFace. Pours a ruby red, not much white head. Aroma isn’t that sour, hint of funkiness and fruit. Taste is light, fruity, a bit funky. As a wise man once said, what more can I say that u don’t already know.
