September 16, 2017 with harrisoni and lagerloather - at The Bottle Shop (Bermondsey) - draught keg. Deep purple with no head. Intensely sour aroma - blueberry, some lemon, a ton of insanely sweet malt - a little off-putting. Taste is also strange - kettle sour gone wrong - too malty, way too much fruit and not enough funk - just didn't care for it. Thick, syrupy, sugary, sticky, still - acidic in the finish - whatever. Just didn't do it for me.

On tap at Gollem, Antwerp. Aroma of sour fruits, stables, berries, wood, cherries, candy. Poured pinkish with a fading head, had not much sparkling. Taste is sour, fruity, sharp, berries, something light sweet, sour bear candy. Tingling sour finish.

tap @ KiK. Nice aroma, nice dimensionality, the blueberries are added with moderation and don't overtake the beer, nice carbonation, but at the end of the day.... a bit overpriced....

Aromat dosy? lekki, wyra?nie brettowy, skrzany, leciutki ocet. Owoce te? s? ale w tle, do tego lekkie cukierki i chyba ciut pszenica. Smak mocno kwa?ny, wytrawny

Bottle shared @ Beerfox Artisanal Beer Bar, Riga, September 29th. Pours clear and quite red, only light hints of blueberry purple. Aroma is loaded with brett, huge barnyard, horse sweat in the nose, funky on steroids. Taste has some sour acidity but not too aggressive, quite balanced actually. Bone-dry and taste brings ask blueberry flavours out quite nicely, skins and piths are there for sure. Dry funky finish, really loving this beer, crazy but I like crazy.

Semi cloudy purple red. White pink head. Super funky barn nose. Almost no berry. More berry tartness in the taste. Dry. Clean medium body, long finish. Excellent.

September 2017 - Keg at Bottle Shop Bermondsey. As 'Crooked Stave L'Brett d'Blueberry'. Purple pour, slight haze, foamy off-white head. Aroma is tart berries, blackcurrant, undiluted squash. Body is smooth with tingly carbonation. Taste is tart blackberry, blackcurrant, a little blueberry, a biscuity backbone that evolves into a strong egg tart flavour which I actually quite like, but I can see why others wouldn't.
