(On tap @ MBCC 2017 Yellow Session, Copenhagen) Pours somewhere between cola and black. Notes of wood, earth, tart dark fruit, touch of blueberry obvious, lactic souring plus light to moderate acetic acid, toast, yeast with light to moderate barnyard funk, no real whiskey, hints of vanilla, tannic vinous/berry skin finish, persistent sour notes. Medium bodied, light carbonation. Not bad but probably not the best variant of this, I felt like the blueberries didn't add so much to the base.

375ml bottle pours dark brown black with small tan head. Nose and taste have nice roast, char, ash, cigar, blueberry, basement, funk, sawdust, cocoa, chocolate. Finishes with medium high acidity, drying oak and touches of dusty cocoa sweetness. Nice beer.

UPDATED: NOV 27, 2017 375mL bottle shared by AdamC on 7/29/17.
Dark olivine-tinted dark mahogany with a lustrous sheen on top devoid of head (ring of bubbles at best). Clarity undetermined.
The nose is full of intense balsamic vinegar-like acetic acid with huge bursts of grape and some blueberry acid floating in the background. Vanilla, harsh whiskey and/or wood with a big musty character and lots of dirty feet. Olives and fish, as well.
In the mouth it's hot, heavily acidic and completely unenjoyable and undrinkable. Biting, harsh acid leaves little room for anything other than phenolic bitterness and alcoholic sharpness. Loose, somewhat watery, slick and oily with a severely thin texture. Awful, just awful.

on tap. It looks opaque black with small tan head. No sparkling bubbles. Aroma is blueberry, barnyard, roasted malt and slight wood. Taste is amazing! What a complexity! Like a mix of half fruity lambic and half sweet stout. Very delicious fruity and acidic sourness with some wood and roasted bread. Medium bodied. Soft carbonation. Warm and softly puckering finish. Very easy to drink despite sourness and high abv. One of the most delicious beers.

Bottle. It poured a dark color with a tan head. The aroma was of funk, blueberries, wood and some sourness. The taste was similar to the aroma with more blueberries, whiskey, sourness with a medium body and a funky aftertaste. Tasty.
