From notes. Enjoyed at Corbet’s house during a tasting on October 24. 375 mL bottle, 2013 vintage. The pour is a dark brown, unlike most traditional sours, with a thin khaki ring of head that thins out in a hurry. The aroma is full of a lighter fruit, roasted malts, a hint of charred oak, a funkiness, and a light black or raspberry on the back end. It’s light on the fruit, but decent. The flavor is a little more balanced, but there is a little more alcohol present. The fruits are light and crisp, and the barrel really moves in and takes over. The mouth feel is a little thin and light, but carries an immense carbonation and a lingeringly smooth, yet quite hot, alcoholic berry finish. This is interesting. It’s not as tart as I was expecting. bursprak (3284) - Aarhus, DENMARK - OCT 26, 2015

Taste is sweet, los of tart mixed grape and dark berries, strawberry, soil, wet wood, spice. Finish is sweet funky grape, ashy chocolate, woodshop, funk, earthy dark fruit and hints of whiskey spice.
