Starts off super fruity, all raspberries. Gets aggressively sour asap. Sour nerds. Oak. I commend crooked stave for bringing me this beer.

11/12/17. 375mL bottle thanks to rdixon77! What a way to start his birthday and 3000 ratings celebration! Dark amber pour with a nice khaki head. Rich aroma, sour as all hell, bright raspberry, some dark fruits, caramel. Rich flavor, whiskey, caramel, raspberries, quite sour. Tasty!

A strange but good mix of choco, sour and a lot of raspberry, dark with a very thin head, medium body, average carbonation, strong acetic notes and a juice of raspberry...a bit extreme but good.

3.9
scoth (691) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - OCT 8, 2017
Pours thick dark brown, completely opaque in the glass with a rusty tan head, low retention. Aromas of raspberry, whiskey, brett, oak, hay, and toffee. Medium body, moderate carbonation. Lightly sweet, intensely sour, perhaps of trace of bitterness in the finish, but sour is dominant. I wish I'd stashed another bottle of this for later.
