@ Crooked Stave Tasting hosted by Kraddel. Bottled 2013. Batch 2. Aroma is very nice and complex woody acidity; therefore the taste is disappointing. Very one-dimensional acetic acid. Palate is slightly puckering.

At the crooked stave tasting. Pours unclear dark amber to brown. No real head. Smell is fleshy, oak, bit tart, very full. Taste is strong, sour, tart, bit lactic, oak, tad fruity, very dry. Very intense. Not bad.

Tap (Pogromcy Meatów, Wrocław). Kwas w aromacie zbalansowany drewnem beczki. Smak kwaśny, ściągający ale mimo to piwo jest dość gładkie, mało kwaśne w odbiorze. Ogólnie bardzo dobry kwas ba.

37,5cl Bottle @ Be Hoppy, Madrid, Spain. Dark brown colour with a thin white head. Aroma is cherries, sour, vinegar. Taste is cherries, sour, malt, vinegar, oak, slightly sweet. Medium body, average carbonation.

(Keg at Sori Taproom, 20171031) Batch #8. The beer poured deep ruby red and clear. Its head was medium sized and nearly white. Aroma had sweetness, berries wood and tartness. Palate was medium bodied and dryish with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, tartness, berries, wood and bitterness. Aftertaste was tart and bitter. A well done tart brew with sweet notes.

Draught @ Sori Taproom as origin #8 Poured dark brown color with a thin white head. Aroma has tartness,and black currants. Flavor has tartness, vinegar, wood, fruits. Wow. Balanced, tasty brew.

UPDATED: OCT 27, 2017 Draught at Sori Taproom. Dark brown color, minimal white head. Sour taste with sour apples, vinegar, wheat, tart, earthy notes, red currant and a bit of tannins. Sour finish with sour apples, vinegar, red currant, tart and wood. Excellent sour ale.

Refrigerated 75 cl brown bottle poured into a glass. Clear medium brown with medium beige head. Aroma is light vinegar, medium body, lower carbonation, and some small-bubble lacing. Taste is tart, vinegar, and oak. Expected more.

Sour, dark berries, sweet oak, dark molasses. Slightly hazy, very dark brown, small, frothy, beige head. Light sour. More sour dark berries and prunes, lemon, acidic citrus fruits, dry oak, drying bitterness, soft carbonation, medium bodied. Very nice Sour, well-balanced. Keg at The Source, Denver.
