Bottle shared with Al on a snowy day, pours reddish purple color with small white head. Notes of sea shell, blueberry tart, Brett, well water, and salivating oaky fruits. Maybe some currants, and the blueberries became more pronounced as she warmed. Killer juice from Crooked Stave. Thanks for sharing brah.

The beer is a deep maroon with a light pink-ish head, which dissipates after a couple minutes. Quite cloudy, though it could be sediment from the bottle. The aroma is surprisingly jammy for a blueberry sour. Plenty of fruit character. Big vinous note with oakiness bouncing around. Pretty good dose of citrus - lemons, oranges - which adds to the jammy flavor. Without that acidity, I think the blueberry could get into jelly-ish territory quickly. Medium acidity in the taste. Lots of fruit. Once it hits room temp, the citrus starts to take over but the blueberry flavor is still strong compared to other beers that use the fruit. Finishes dry with a medium oak note. Some fruit sweetness up front. Full, creamy feel for the strength and style. It’s still light but there’s a pleasant body to it. I’ve been immensely impressed by the 2014 CS beers. The reserve club will be missed.

Bottle... Pours hazy and rosé with a mid-sized, creamy, white head that has the slightest tint of pink. The aroma is woodsy and fruity - blueberries and blackberries. Medium-bodied with snappy carbonation. The flavor offers fruity berries and tart acidity along with a light note of tannic bitterness. Tangy, fruity, Mohave-dry finish. Bottle provided by landhoney!

375 ml bottle, big thanks to Charles! Beautiful deep garnet pour with a small, lightly roseate head. Nose and flavor hold beautiful blueberry and blackberry, lactic tartness with hints of tannin and pedio, clean crisp dry finish. Much more ostensibly tart than the Petite Sour Passionfruit. Delicious.

Bottle. Ruby pour with white head. Blueberry tart, other berries and sweet fruit aromas. Sweet berries including blueberry, almost candy tartness on the finish. Easy drinking sour.

Bottle, 1/4/2014. Pours a dark raspberry red, hazy white head with decent lacing built up around the glass. Aroma is blueberry, slightly sour, floral notes with lactic funk, oak. Taste is fruity, tart berries, smooth lactic funk in the middle, yogurt, light acidity, wood and tannins in the finish. Light body, not overly sour and fairly well balanced. Nice.

HUGE GUSHER. Obtained in a trade with AdamJackson. Thanks! 375 ml. bottle sampled @ “Nog-een-half-jaar-tot-de-volgende-EBT”. Bright purple / pink blueberry juice with little head. Huge lactic blueberry nose, fermenting blueberries, standard USA sour. Taste is lactic, Berliner-like with USA sour mix nose, taste is bit empty in the middle, puckering blueberry / lactic finish, acidic, uneatable berries. Light bodied, bit fizzy. Pretty decent & sufficiently fruity USA-style sour.

Bottle at "Nog-een-half-jaar-tot-de-volgende-EBT"- GUSHER! Light clouded red beer, small unstable white head. NOSE: blueberries, sour, fruity. TASTE: blueberries, sour, fruity, weird but very sweet aftertaste.
