Pink/purple pour. Wow this is good. So juicy and fruity and perfectly sour. Blueberry, raspberry, light lemons. Just a beautifully crafted beer. 77ships (9947) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - JAN 4, 2015
HUGE GUSHER. Obtained in a trade with AdamJackson. Thanks! 375 ml. bottle sampled @ “Nog-een-half-jaar-tot-de-volgende-EBT”. Bright purple / pink blueberry juice with little head. Huge lactic blueberry nose, fermenting blueberries, standard USA sour. Taste is lactic, Berliner-like with USA sour mix nose, taste is bit empty in the middle, puckering blueberry / lactic finish, acidic, uneatable berries. Light bodied, bit fizzy. Pretty decent & sufficiently fruity USA-style sour. Reynolds314 (3462) - Connecticut, USA - FEB 5, 2015
Bottle thanks to jared, awesome beer. Gusher with purple amber color and big head. Aroma is juicy ripe blueberries some tart lemony funk. Taste is quite tart and balanced with juicy blueberry sweetness. Great. ebone1988 (1971) - Dearborn, Michigan, USA - SEP 12, 2015
UPDATED: MAY 9, 2016 Sample at Funvitational. Aroma is sour, blueberry, funk. Appearance is light purple, white head. Taste is tart blueberries, sour, pretty much. Mouthfeel is light to medium body, crisp carbonation, tart blueberry aftertaste. Overall, this is my sour awakening beer. I get it now! MetalNHopHead (2018) - Lincoln, Nebraska, USA - AUG 28, 2016
As the masters of all things funk and fruit, Crooked Stave rarely make anything that isn’t worth having. The blueberry variant of Petite Sour pours red/brown with pink-tinged head. As blueberry-infused Sour this pretty much comes across as it should. Plenty of both sweetness and tartness from the berries. Some horse blanket funk too. Sticky, dry finish. Extremely easy to polish off.

A - Beautiful color as with all blueberry beers, pink reddish hues, 1 finger carb that fades fast.
S - The nose is gorgeous. Bright, juicy with floral notes, honey dew melon and a nice juiciness. As with most blueberry beers, there’s an earthiness to it. Very mild tart acidity.
T - This is a very mild beer. Weak start, nice lemon tartness w/ a balanced acidity at the middle and the finish is all blueberry. Great taste..no element is overpowering.
M - Crisp seltzer water carbonation sort of like one of those juice sodas from Pellegrino.
O - Nice beer, extremely drinkable and great on a hot day!
Bottle thanks to Will. Pours a clear pink purple with small off white head. The aroma is strong oak, blueberry skin, yeast. Thin mouthfeel with nice tart blueberry, funk, oak, lingering sourness, yes. Art (3217) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 6, 2014
Pours a murky purpley red with a think pinkish head. Aromas of lacto sourness mixed with light blueberry and horse manure, barnyard. Taste is sour lacto with a finish of blueberry aftertaste. Medium light body and medium high carb. Really enjoyed this one thoroughly. Better than 2013 Blabær. madvike (3271) - Middleton, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 22, 2014
Bottle - Pours purple with a thin filmy off-white head. Nose is lemon, yogurt, berry, real tart. Taste is yogurt, blueberry, a bit of lemon tart, with lots of other berries--raspberry and blackberry. Body is light, well-carbonated, and soft. Lovely stuff. b3shine (8940) - Indiana, USA - APR 1, 2015
375 ml bottle to snifter (thanks Dogbones). Looks great; just like I’d want it to. A hazy blueberry flesh with fizzy white head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells great! Tart with an awesome blueberry presence and a bit of oak in the background. Some funk as well. Tastes like it smells, but with a bit more funk than blueberry, and a pleasantly tart, fairly dry mouthfeel. A bit of lemon on the tongue as well. This is fantastic!
