First distribution to Ohio, 375ml bottle. Bright cloudy orange color with small white head. Aroma is yeasty and vinous. Flavor has slight sourness at first, with grassy and earthy yeast flavors taking over. Just a bit sour and just a bit funky. Very good overall. Its sad that at $7/bottle this is one of their cheapest beers. Its nice to splurge while theyre new in town, but it wont last. Their prices are absolutely insane. They sell 12oz bottles for the same price as Jolly Pumpkin and The Bruerys 25oz bottles, and the quality is not twice as good. Its good- not saying its not good. But come on. Its all hype, and sours have been the trendy thing the past couple years, so whatever.

Progenitor #2 - amazing beer. Fresh rotten tropical fruit and beautiful banquet of floral/citrus hops with very smooth light-med sourness. Superb. Score 4.7
Progenitor #4 - not as amazing. Herbal ripe citrus, tuna pate, medicinal and barn brett, still nice balance of citrusy sourness (lactic+acetic) to the very light grain sweetness. Score 3.7

From notes (May 2015). Great golden, funky beer with a lot of barnyard Brett character and a good amount of hop bitterness. Good stuff.

Bottle. Poured a clear yellow color with an average to large frothy white head that mostly lasted with very good lacing. Moderate to heavy sour fruit aroma. Medium to full body with a tingly dry texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy sour & sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet & sour finish of moderate to long duration. This is a solid beer.

From notes. Enjoyed at a tasting at Corbets house on December 21. 375 mL bottle. The pour is a foggier golden yellow color with a thicker white cap of head that dissipates slowly with few spots of lace. The aroma is pretty decent. There is a lot of grain up front, which Im not crazy about. The citrus is dominating after that. There is a light hop, but its all citrus and a dusty funk on the back end. The flavor is all citrus and really nothing else. Its surprising, and incredibly imbalanced. The mouth feel is a little heavy and nicely carbonated with a lingering bitter hop juiciness and a bit of funk that drags on. This is interesting.

Pours hazy gold into a tulip. Bright white head with medium retention recedes leaving spot lacing. Sour citrus aromas. Crisp with band aid and grapefruit upfront turning to fresh squeezed lemons before the lasting pith finish.

Poured a golden color with a white head. Aroma was of pale grain, lemon juice, light sweet tart, some juicy hops too. Flavor similar, less hop forward than batch 60, but still really good.
