COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Vieille meaning “Old” is our artisinal barrel-aged Saison, lightly dry hopped. Each batch release is a diverse blend of Vieille casks that have taken on a soft Brettanomyces character before being lightly dry hopped. Dominated by a floral, citrusy hop character, a subtle herbal note and a tart finish, Vieille’s character exemplifies artisan Saisons.

Benzai (15619) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - JUL 1, 2016
Bottle shared by Caesar @ Caesars mancave. Clear pale yellow color, average sized white head that diminishes fairly quickly. Aroma reminds me of a saison and a geuze, slight yeast and quite a nice citrussy yellow fruits touch. Taste only has a slight sourish touch, quite balanced, a slight citrussy touch, superbly balanced. Lovely.

Kita (2151) - Koper, SLOVENIA - JUN 7, 2016
Bottle, 0.375l. Pours cloudy golden color with thin creamy white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma of citrus, brett, herbs and bread with mild earthy note. Taste starts light sweet grainy, following is refreshing citric, funky and gentle woody with moderate bitter finish. Medium body, thin texture and average carbonation in palate. Very nice and smooth, even a bit undercarbonated for my liking...

Easy drinking fsrmhouse saison that isn’t super heavily barreled. Light wine aroma and some farmhouse grass and hay. Golden pour with good head and lacing. Light tangy bretta finish, a hint of citrus. Tap at Churchkey.

Enjoyed on tap in sampler form at the Crooked Stave Taproom in Denver, CO. Appearance is a cloudy bright gold with a prominent frothy white head. Aroma is 'earthy' like herbs and fertilizer, not the greatest smell but its faint enough and I can appreciate it. Taste is very strange, like raw hops with sour grape notes, I can appreciate its complexity but I'm not into it.

375, capped. Pours a clear medium gold with minimal white head, no lace. Light tangy lemon and wet grass nose. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Lemon and grass mid palate. Mild finish.

2013/batch 7. Pours a cloudy golden apricot with a thick white head that leaves nice lacing as it shrinks. Aroma is lemon zest, coriander, and funk. Flavor is sour citrus. Lemon and orange zest. Some funk as well. Thin to medium. Really good beer.

kapusil (1432) - Budapest, HUNGARY - MAY 14, 2016
0.375l bottle. Slightly hazy golden body, thin white head. Aroma of bread, lemon zest, berries and a bit of bubble gum. Taste of lemon zest, vinegar, bread, apricot and some citruses. Quite sour for a saison, but pretty good.

GTAEgeek (2219) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - MAY 4, 2016
375 mL bottle, brough by Zach. Pours a cloudy yellow color, with a medium, bubbly, white head. The nose is lemon peels, yeast and white bread, musty hay and light barnyard funk, and a bit of rosemary. Dry flavor, with a lightly tart finish. Light to medium body, dry, chalky, and acidic. This is a mellow and subtle saison, with a good, easy brett funk that dries it out pretty nicely.

Grassy, fruity aromas with an effervescent light fruity flavor with a little funk going on. Damn fine beer.
