375ml bottle pours dark cloudy brown red with small head. Nose and taste have a combo of flanders/bruin with classic Crooked Stave dusty oak sawdust funk, tart leathery old cherry and dark fruit with some light woody spice and bits of sweetness. Medium-high acidity. OK not one of my fav CS. Just a little jumbled. sokuzs1 (1701) - POLAND - DEC 23, 2017

Pretty clear red brown to purple beer, small creamy beige head, unstable, bit adhesive. Aroma: bit sweet, caramel, some dried fruits, soft roast, some butter scotch. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very fruity start, somewhat funky, sourish, lemon juice, very acidic. Aftertaste: mouth puckering dryness, lemon juice, little fruity, some tannins.
clear amber brown, practically no head.
very nice spicy vinegar belgian sour, woody aroma. cherries.
Flavor is very very sourish, with a lot of sweet cherries on top of that, the alc. level is quite high and i think i can taste the alc. a little bit which is not that nice again for me. It all leaves a little bit of a sweet muddled up sensation. Anyway, as always a super tasty sour from the stave, but this is not one of their best imo. Pours a murky ruby color... Beige, lacy head. Outstanding nose, caramel, port, wood, berry, light phenols. Dry, dry, dry...sweeter fruits on the tongue, raspberry, wood, spice, dry but spritzy. Great! DiarmaidBHK (6170) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 6, 2017
Draft at Armsby Abbey. Pours ruby red with a khaki head. Leaves a shitload of lacing in the glass. Lots of vinegar tartness on the tongue. Also getting some cherry and wood notes as well. Interesting. GenDV138 (7964) - Falls Church, Virginia, USA - OCT 1, 2017
6 oz pour on draft at Snallygaster 2017 shared. Brownish color. Aromas of vinegar, light smoke. Tastes of vinegar, dark fruit, tart notes. Light body with a dry finish. solidfunk (9795) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - SEP 29, 2017
Plum, a lot of sour lime. A little sour but otherwise very nice drinking. Crooked Stave is good when their instinct to make mouth puckering beers is controlled like Kendrick. Tap at Snally.
