Tasting at Bruce’s pad. Thanks to Jack for completing the Crooked Stave hattrick this evening. Hazy amber beer, no real head. Light dry palate. Pretty sour - almost acidic. Odd juxtaposition of mellow bourbon and very tart fruits. Dry finish. Just a bit beyond my comfort zone of sourness but tasty.
Bottle 37,5 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a murky opaque brown with a beige head. Tart balsamico nose. Medium body lowish carbonation, overripe dark fruit, sour berries and again quite some balsamico making this fairly tart. Very interesting soured Quad. 060413 Leighton (22084) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 17, 2013

Tart finish, pretty acidic, some woody dryness, tangy fruits. Nice beer overall.
