COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
St. Bretta is our 100% Brettanomyces Whitebier that was just released this week! Not only is St. Bretta an evolution of Wild Wild Brett Orange, but also it will be ever-changing depending on the fresh citrus available that season. For our spring release we decided to brew St. Bretta with fresh Minneola Tangelo. Each seasonal release of St. Bretta will have a diverse range of citrus fruit added to keep the beer fresh and exciting (the summer release was brewed with blood oranges)!

Bottle shared at Bruce’s in London - thanks to Bruce. Pours hazy yellow-gold with a wispy white cream head. Tangy citrus nose, notes of tangerine, lemon, tangy wheat. Light sweet flavor with sturdy yet understated tangy lemon, doughy wheat bread, some dry hay. Light bodied with average carbonation. Clean finish, fairly dry, with further lemony tang, slight straw bitterness, hints of lemon rind. Nice.

Nose is light fart, earthy, lactic tang, orange peel, straw, lemon rind, apricot. Taste comprises floral notes, tarte grape skin, grass, orange pith, dank straw, light brett character. Medium bodied, fine carbonaion, dry grassy tarte notes in the finale. Sound.

12.7 oz. bottle, sent from mista (thanks a lot, Geoff), pours an opaque cloudy golden yellow with a small white head. Nose brings out the funky brett above anything, followed by wheat and a touch of citrus. Flavour brings out loads of citrus and brett upfront, though the citrus outshines as it’s extremely citric (!), followed by a touch of wheat. Very astringency citrusy notes upfront, followed by moderate funky brett notes. Highly drinkable and refreshing. Wonderful stuff.

Hazy yellow, lots of lacto on the nose, light brett, quite tart with pithy bitterness, I’m guessing from the tangelo, relatively light body. Very refreshing, I could go back to this.
