Thin white head. Massive funky aroma. Tart sourness. Don’t get the oranges. Not my cup of tea. cards04 (2949) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - FEB 10, 2015
I don’t know how this is a witbier but who cares I guess. It’s damn tasty. Pours a dark dusky yellow. Aromas are stable, white wine, lemon, vinegar. Great sour flavors. A great option for summer time sipping. Lots of bright citrus flavors, funk, white wine. Great! AirForceHops (8171) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - FEB 1, 2015
375 bottle spilt by Willrunforbeer. 2013 Batch 2. Hazy gold, no head. Aroma has a great citrus character with a mild funky yeast.
Flavor has citrus though out the sip with a nice level of tartness. Not sour, tart. Has a citrus rind bitterness that also help balance the tartness. Damn, really well balanced! The finish is dry with a refreshing crispness. I could sip this for an extended length of time. WillRunForBeer (2810) - Massachusetts, USA - JAN 31, 2015
From notes. 375ml bottle shared 3 ways. 2013 batch 2. Pours pale yellow gold with a faint white head. Aroma is Chardonnay, lemon, wet hay, oak. Flavor is Chardonnay, lemon, acetic, tart cherry skin wet hay, oak. Great beer. vyvvy (6943) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - JAN 22, 2015
Pours hazy yellow / orange with a modest sized white head. The aroma comes off more lambic-like than witbier. There is modest tartness, oak, funk, citrus, cheese zest, spices and an underlying richness. Very nice and inviting. It has a light crisp super snappy body with a touch of sharp carbonation. The taste starts with sharp citrus, funk, cheese, peppery spice, cinnamon, oak and it even seems like the blood orange flavor comes up front. The finish is very dry with the spice and citrus taking center and just enough malt and oak to keep it in check. Excellent beer.

Bottle shared by a friend. Opaque yellow color with a fuzzy white head. Aroma of Froot Loops, orange and wheat. Orange flavor with creamy wheat before a sour finish. joet (2678) - Wilsonville, Oregon, USA - DEC 12, 2014
Pale golden and clear, visible soft effervescence, soft white to ivory colored foam thin and sustained, oranges and grapefruit aromas, leather, a touch mousey, Brett dominant, cheese, cheddar, Brie, slightly spritz you feel, lightly creamy edges, very very nice. Much respect. Westmeister (2127) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - DEC 11, 2014
Shared Ale Alpharetta. Thanks wchesser. Dusty, a bit funky, bright citrus, stonefruit, light medium tart, refreshing. Dang good. bursprak (3284) - Aarhus, DENMARK - NOV 30, 2014
Bottle from a trade. Hazy golden pour with a small head. Loads of citrus, lemon, orange, some lactic notes, light funk. Delicious stuff! Mep3222 (1746) - East Greenbush, New York, USA - NOV 30, 2014
Aroma of lactic sour, some funk, and lemony orange citrus. Taste is the same. Prob 50/50 lactic sour to funky sour. Has a bit more earth was than I like in a sour, but still pretty nice. Maybe 4 of 10 sour. Citrus flavors come through pretty strong. Finish has an odd bitterness of earthy funk. Not my favorite sour from crooked stave, but still very good.
