Bottle brought back from my Denver trip. Kind of a hazy murky orange/amber with a small fleeting white head. Tart aroma of apricots, and peaches. More tart fruit flavors, with a little perfume floral note. More of a full on sour than a saison. Full flavors and moderate acidity. A little of that farmhouse yeast but mostly dominated by the more classic sour flavors. Very nice.

Batch 10: pours a light hazy golden with white head. Tartness, funk, barrel, and citrus on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes tart and very dry.

Keg at the Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014, blue session. 02/05/2014. Aroma is tart fruits, apricots, woody farmyard, light mustyness. Clouded golden orange with a small head. Flavour is tart sharp puckering sour, apricot, horse and musty. Palate is slightly acidic, drying. Solid saison.

Bootle from CASK, Pimlico. Hazy golden colour, small head. Vinous nose, hints of yoghurt and sour fruit. Good sour dryness throughout, fruity. Refreshing.

375ml bottle pours a slightly hazy orangey brown color. Medium sourness balances against the farmhouse funk.

Amazing tart sour light grain smell. A beautiful see though but full golden copper. A sharp tartness that blends to a light grain sour, smooth delicious. Great mouth feel coats and leaves a lasting sour after the liquid fades.

Unclear orange body with a nice white head. Aroma is malty hay, citrus, floral, spicy and funky. Taste is medium sour with a citrus hint. Reminds me of pomelo. Bitter finish.

Garrold (5519) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JUL 20, 2014
Bottle from Beermoth, Manchester. Hazy, pale amber. Lasting, filmy, white head. Lime zest. White wine. Wood. Lemon. Taste is lemon tart. Light, woody dry. A hint of honey sweet. So far, so good, but a greasy, thick, dull palate really lets this beer down. If I knew what I was talking about, I’d say this has spent way too much time in a barrel. Finish is tart and dry. Utterly underwhelming.

Bottle. Hazy light amber body with nice lasting white head. Aroma is fruity mostly apple with some hints of vinegar. Taste is sour with some malts some bretts and some wine. Aftertaste is medium bitter with sourness and malt sweetness. Very nice one.

Dark cloudy orange colour, big white head. Excellent acidic aroma with green apple, wheat, wood, yeast, grapes. Medium body, ideal carbonation. Incredible fruity tart flavour with green apples, lemon, vinegar. Exceptional.
