Tart drinker smooth from aging. Would be good with spicy food. Would recommend as a fine sour. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle care of Thomas "Boss" Hourican. Split with the Boss and Shin Tommy. Pours piss golden with a fuzzy white head. No lace. Aroma is lactic acid, freshly-baled hay, lemon zest, apricot and peach. Taste is apricot, lemon, and gentle touches of honey and nectar. Sour, cutting, funky, and tart. Fucking excellent. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

some mild brett and sourness in the nose. lots of esters bouncing around, including fruity/pear notes. hazy medium honey color, head drops to lacing quickly. the assertive bitterness is challenged by a bitter response, building towards the finish. earthy and farmy. but none of the wild characteristics gets too out of hand, too dominant. the intense wild characteristics seem to counter one another to find balance.

Enjoyed on tap at Crooked Stave Taproom in Denver, CO while on vacation. Appearance is a juice like cloudy dark gold with a prominent white head. Aroma smells tart with notes of oak, light stinky cheese. Taste is overly sour in the best way possible with a fantastic crisp malt finish that nicely lingers for at least two seconds. I haven't had a beer like this in a while that knocks you back after first sip. At first I thought it was my least favorite of my sampler offerings but now I think it's my most favorite. Great stuff!

Smells and tastes like sweet tarts in the best way a sour beer can. Nice white head that stays for days and a good tannic finish.

Dark cloudy orange colour, big white head. Excellent acidic aroma with green apple, wheat, wood, yeast, grapes. Medium body, ideal carbonation. Incredible fruity tart flavour with green apples, lemon, vinegar. Exceptional.

355ml bottle, pours white gold with plenty of haze and a bubbly white head, aroma has caramalt, piney & citrus hop, spicy yeast notes and lovey tart lambic zest. Lots of variety in the aromas and brought together and balanced with skill. Body is light, texture is thin, finish is dry and mild sour, carbonation is average to lively. A great beer to end 2014!

A 375ml bottle from 2014/batch 15 poured into a Duvel tulip glass. The beer poured a slightly hazy golden orange colour with a thin head that dissipates quickly but leaves nice lacing. Aromas strong of barnyard funk, slight tropical fruit pineapple, maybe mango and slight citrus tangy tangerine. Excellent tart and sour tastes. Light lemon citrus along with some even lighter tropical mango and yeasty notes to balance. Medium bodied, low to medium carbonation. Overall, this was excellent, a definite must buy for me. Loved the upfront tart and sourness in the beer. Up to par with its Belgian counterparts for this style in my opinion, but probably harder to find in Hong Kong. I want more!
