Tap at the Barrel Cellar - I am not a fan of the regular Surette Reserva at all, so this one really surprised me - the blending of the kombucha really smooths out the rough edges and eliminates the more unpleasant aspects of the beer - the aroma, especially, is much improved - the tea adds a soft herbal note and a light sweetness that balances the mild funkiness and earthy notes - the flavor is moderately acidic, as opposed to the more in-your-face acidity of the original - light sweetness, mild grape character - like the aroma, the tea adds a light herbal note - interesting and pretty tasty. daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - OCT 24, 2012

Has some very big yeast sour funk with some grape notes in the back. Taste is a very nice subtle sourness with a pleasant grape flavor.

On tap at Crooked Stave poured a cloudy amber with a small lingering ivory head. Aromas of grape, straw, light citrus, light spice and light yeast. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry lightly tart finish. Flavors of grape, straw, earthiness, light citrus and light yeast with a crisp dry lightly tart lingering earthy grape finish.

On tap at the barrel cellar. Pour is murky amber with a small off-white head. Red grapes, oak, cheese, wax, berries, and tea in the aroma. Super funky. Taste is light grape juice, citric acid, a touch of pepper, bread, and lemon with a lightly tart finish. Light body with no carbonation, which I have come to expect from Chads beers on tap. Tap @ Crooked Stave. Pours a murky, purplish brown appearance with not much head. Concord grape, a bit juicy, lemon meringue, tart bretty, a bit funky aroma. Pour on tap at the brewery, dark milky brownish purple, like chocolate milk with grape juice. Aroma had grape, cherry, red fruit, sour lemon, hints of earth, touch of funk, bready notes. Taste is a mix of sweet grape, wine, some lemon, peach, cherry, hints of biscuit, finishing dry and funky earth. Pretty tasty.
