Draft. Hazy bright deep golden color, white head with good retention and lacing. Huge peach aroma on a background of funky vanilla. Taste has sour overripe peach and booze. Delicious. vtafro (7444) - Wayne, New Jersey, USA - JUL 8, 2016
Bottle. Orange pour with white beD. Huge peach, vanilla, tart fruit aromas. Flavors are tart, peach, whiskey, and light tart tones. Maakun (6452) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - JUN 30, 2016
Tap at BeerTemple. Cloudy pink/orange with some white bubbles. Sour wheat dough, funk, dried old dusty herbs, light peach, vanilla. There’s just a little hint of booze too. Almost medium sour and very distant sweetness. Medium bodied with soft fizzy carbonation. Not bad, nice light funk and sourness, well balanced.

Sampled from tap at ’Beertemple’ during Carnivale Brettanomyces 2016 as ’Surette Reserva Peach’ at 6.2% abv, courtesy of Douberd, thanks Christos! Slightly hazy, golden amber with a white head. Very fruity, sourish aroma of lots of peach, apricot and hints of citrus. Quite sour, very fruity taste of lots of peach, apricot and some citrus, followed by a medium long, very tart finish. Thin to medium body, very astringent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice, very simple again. wchesser (2140) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JAN 8, 2016
Bottle at the Source during 5th anniversary. Clear deep orange. Nose is nice white wine like barrel character, light vanilla, indistinct stone fruit. Flavors of light yogurt, light vanilla and oak, don’t get any distinct peachiness, but definitely a fruit element. Not a real whiskey character, but the barrel definitely lends some complexity. Really tasty and in some ways reminiscent of RB Home, Sour Home but a drier less hedonistic beer. HonusWagner (2226) - Florida, USA - DEC 2, 2014
Bottle thanks to Seth/Diego/Not Sure at Diego’s Stone Fruit Bashaganoza.
The whiskey barrels added surprisingly little to the base beer, which was rather astonishing as I expected a heavy dose of peachiness and some booze buzz based on my experience with apple brandy barreled beers. Basically just the same lightly citrusy orange saison with a hint of tart zing. Quite solid, but not spectacular as I had hoped. bursprak (3285) - Aarhus, DENMARK - DEC 2, 2014
Bottle from a trade. Light bronze pour with tiny lacings on top. Nose has lots of funk upfront, citrus and leather. Tasty is quite tart, lemon zest, some vanilla, leather and a touch of peach. Delicious stuff! merc7186 (3160) - North Tonawanda, New York, USA - OCT 15, 2014
