Bottle 375ml.

Light unclear medium orange yellow colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, tart, fruity, pale malt, peach, funky, wine, wood, alcohol - whisky. Flavour is light heavy sweet and moderate acidic with a long duration, tart, peach, manure, brett, whisky, wood, warm, spicy - peppery. Wow this is nice ;D. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft - fizzy, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20131024]

Mega Tasting at Bruce’s pad. Thanks to Leighton. Hazy gold beer, small bubbly white head. Palate is light and dry. Very light lemon sourness which is well tempered by light vanilla oak. Yep - a little sour peach here as well. Light semi dry finish. Tasty!

Bottle shared at the Tasting That May Kill Us in London. I got this beer from AJ. Pours clear, bright gold with a mellow, frothy white head. The nose has tangerine, honeysuckle, mild funk. Light sweet flavor with ripe citrus, juicy lemon, more tangerine, hints of sticky honey, melon, pale bread. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Mild warmth to finish, more honey, sweet pale bread, definitely some citric lemon, tangerine. Good stuff. A little bit lip-blistering, but good.

Bottle at the Huge Friday Jamboree, big thanks to Senator LK Smith from the American sector, 03/01/14. Murky orange amber with a thin off white swirl and edgework. Nose is light booze, bitter orange, straw, farmyard, tangy citric fruits. Taste comprises tarte apricot, orange pith, tangy fruit, Brett, hay, light funk, touch of damp wood. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying closure. Nice sour.

12.7 oz. bottle, sent from mista (thanks a lot, Geoff), pours a cloudy light golden orange with a small white head. Nose brings out loads of peaches, followed by whiskey and vanilla. Flavour brings out loads of peaches combined with wonderfully complex whiskey barrels - some residual vanilla is in there with some woody notes. Remarkable depth and complexity. Excellent stuff.

Bottle @ 10K + OT. Thanks, Jake. Clear golden pour with a finger of white foam. Nose is tart lemon juice and underripe peach. Green grapes, oak, and a slight damp funkiness. Really nice and bright acidity to the taste. Plenty of green grapes, lemon, and peach. Sour stone fruit, oak, and a dry, leather note. A touch of mineral oil. Solid.

Scopey (15286) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 5, 2014
Bottle at the BIG 2-page tasting, thanks to Leighton. It pours golden orange with a small white head. The nose is juicy, sweet orange, tangerine, peach, sherbet and a touch of funk. The taste is tart, acidic, peach, apricot, sherbet, barnyard, funk and alcohol warmth with a dry, tart finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Nice tart stone-fruit action going on. Mighty decent.
