4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours an opaque yellowish orange color. Head is almost non-existent, as is dissipates quickly. Typical of barrel aged brews occasionally. Aroma of tropical fruits, papaya, slight mango, some oak notes are present and some wonderful funkiness. Huge sourness in the taste, unripe mango, some vanilla and oak. This beer is a great barrel aged sour with the palate of a solid saison.

Nice slightly fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish, oak, soda powder, citrus acid, unripe berries, sorrel, minerals, bark, lemon juice. Taste is sour-ish dry, soda powder, citrus acid, unripe berries, minerals, sorrel, lemon juice, oak, mild vinegar. Medium bitterness, dry citrusy mouthfeel. Nice one.
Nice sour notes will earthy, woody notes. A little bit astringent on the back end for me. bierkoning (13387) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - JUN 29, 2016
Tap @ Beer Temple. Blonde. Apple, peach and a hint of oak in the aroma. Apple sour flavor with oak. Fairly complex, nice beer. MarcoDL (5028) - NETHERLANDS - JUN 25, 2016
Draft at brett fest. Aroma of tart and oak. Nice taste of really sour citrus, hops, oak, fresh tart and some grain. Good. mariuspoenari (2724) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - JUN 25, 2016
On tap at Beertemple. Hazy pale orange with a fine-grained white head. Notes of peaches and apricots, sauvignon blanc wine and a bit of honey. Medium body with a soft carbonation and a light and refreshing sour aftertaste.

750ml bottle pours hazy dark orange with a few bubbles. Nose and taste is musty, sour, very slight acetone, damp hay and fuzzy citrus, toasted grain, orange zest, stonefruit, oak, funk, barrel. Nice complexities, has shades of a still lambic. Maybe getting a touch too sour but holding up well overall. Enjoyable! wchesser (2081) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JAN 17, 2016
At ROYGBIV tasting. ’12 bottle about 4 years old. This was my favorite of all the beers of the night. Slightly cloudy gold. Nose is some light sweaty brett, some stone fruits. Taste is some lacto and lemon tartness, with flavors of peach flesh, straw, light yogurt and tropical fruit, and a slightly chalky finish. Very smooth. Hazy golden pour with a white head. The aroma has some big juicy citrus notes with some biscuit malt and light funk. The flavor is similar. I get some citrus, light tartness and funk. Fairly hoppy with some big grapefruit and orange notes. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. bytemesis (8537) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - SEP 14, 2015
Bottle from 2013 with thanks to adneilsen. Pours crystal clear pale golden, very small head, bubbly with minimal lacing. Aroma is funk, oak, clean. Flavor is dry, light funk, light tart, fruity with lemon. Medium body. barn0216 (550) - California, USA - SEP 13, 2015
Blah blah bottle share bytemesis. From now on assume all of my reviews are from bytemesis beers. Absolutely still deep golden color. Fruity sour aroma, grape or something. Similar flavor but emphasis on the tart sour. Meh x2.
