4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. The pour was a medium peachy orange with a tiny (less than 1/8 in) white fizzy head that disappeared a few seconds after the pour and had virtually no lacing to speak of.
The aroma was of a light toasted caramel malt and a funky horse blanket Brett yeast with notes of green apple, white wine, citrus (orange), mango and a slight cask presence.
The taste was moderately sweet and quite yeasty with a notes of green apple and tropical fruit throughout with the finish having a sour wine flavor with just a touch of oak cask at the end. The flavor lasted a decent time following the swallow with the fruity sour taste settling nicely on the taste buds.
Mouthfeel was just beyond light in body with a dry watery texture and a mild carbonation.
Overall a uniquely tasty Farmhouse Ale with just the right amount of yeasty fruitiness, that along with the sour wine presence gives this brew a very appealing drinkability...

750ml bottle pours hazy dark orange with a few bubbles. Nose and taste is musty, sour, very slight acetone, damp hay and fuzzy citrus, toasted grain, orange zest, stonefruit, oak, funk, barrel. Nice complexities, has shades of a still lambic. Maybe getting a touch too sour but holding up well overall. Enjoyable! wchesser (2121) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JAN 17, 2016
At ROYGBIV tasting. ’12 bottle about 4 years old. This was my favorite of all the beers of the night. Slightly cloudy gold. Nose is some light sweaty brett, some stone fruits. Taste is some lacto and lemon tartness, with flavors of peach flesh, straw, light yogurt and tropical fruit, and a slightly chalky finish. Very smooth.
