COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Vieille meaning Old is our artisinal barrel-aged Saison, lightly dry hopped. Each batch release is a diverse blend of Vieille casks that have taken on a soft Brettanomyces character before being lightly dry hopped. Dominated by a floral, citrusy hop character, a subtle herbal note and a tart finish, Vieilles character exemplifies artisan Saisons.

375ml bottle at Eronel. Hazy yellow-tan body. Thin, patchy, creamy, white head. Funky sour acetic notes. Light enough on the palate that it works quite well for the style. Lemon lime tanginess. Smooth golden malt. Steady sour barrel notes. Really quite excellent, sublime. One of the best US Saisons Ive had. Phenomenal.

Very well balanced saison. Just enough tartness and citrus. A bit more brett flavoring which is tasty for me. Good palate & savoring finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Shared bottle in La Cervecita Nuestra De Cada Dia, Barcelona on 8th July 2016 with the RBESG guys. Poured light golden yellow with a white head. Aroma was of citrus fruits and wood. The fruity taste was also citrus led with a mixed basket of flavours which had some herbal notes as well. Twiggy and gooseberry ish sums the brew up nicely. Different and interesting, but um.

bottle @ The Beer Trappe / Lexington KY --- (bottled April 2015) Aroma of malt with grass and a kiss of lemon. Cloudy light amber color, white head that quickly drops to a thin cover, bands of lace. Taste is slightly sour malt that adds medium fizz and sour yellow & orange fruit. The finish moves strongly toward sweeter orange and lemon in a finish that lasts an eternity. This is a Saison that doesnt emphasize the sour. Exceptional (except for $9.00 for 12.7 oz.) Highly recommended.

A 375ml bottle bottled in April 2015 and poured into a Cantillon ballon glass. It poured a clear golden orange colour with a one finger white head that dissipated quickly but left some light lacing. Aromas are brett, barnyard funk, lemon, tart, oak and pepper spice. Tastes light, everything was light. Light sourness, light tart, light lemon, light pepper, light oak and light funkiness. Light bodied with moderate carbonation. Overall despite everything in the taste being quite light, it was still nice and refreshing.
