750 ml bottle poured a hazy gold with a lasting creamy ivory head. Aromas of straw, tropical fruit, tangerine, pineapple, light pine and light barnyard. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of straw, earthiness, tangerine, tropical fruit, light barnyard and a hint of pine with a crisp dry moderatly bitter lingering fruity finish. Best of the WWB Series so far in my opinion! A killer aroma and one of the most unique beers I’ve tasted in a long time. The Galaxy hops offer incredible tropical fruit notes to this brew’s outstanding aroma. The brett sourness is nicely understated, which is quickly becoming a hallmark of Crooked Stave. My favorite of the series so far. Glouglouburp (6103) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 10, 2012
In short: A very bright a lively brett IPA. Superb stuffsaxo (18324) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - NOV 9, 2012
How: Bottle 750ml. Consumed probably fresh, a few weeks after receiving it from adnielsen, thanks a lot Aaron
The look: Cloudy orange body topped by a large white head with good retention
In long: Nose is an explosion of bright brett, sharp fruity hops (tropical fruits and citrus fruits) as well as far from subtle cat piss (I suspect Citra here or else there is another way with brett IPA to get cat piss aroma). Body is crisp, full, semi-fluffy and as lively as my favorite session true Belgian ale. In mouth the bright hoppy hops mixed with the sharp brett bring a fresh grapefruits, orange peels, tangerines, more. Very sharp but not too intense bitterness. It is up there with the best brett IPAs I’ve ever had (Midnight Sun 3767, Bullfrog Undead, first batch of Mikkeller USAlive!, others…) except Hill Farmstead E which is in a class of its own. My wife absolutely loved this beer, and it is hard to express the happiness I feel to turned my wine-loving wife into a true beer lover, very hard, extremely hard, impossible to express in fact, I wish my wife would stop drinking from my beers.
Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Huge creamy head with excellent duration. Color is hazy golden. Aroma and taste are rich hops, flowers, brett, white wine and malt. Nice and dry. Lovely beer. potbeerjob (1343) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JAN 13, 2012
750ml. Man, i can’t get enough of this beer. Pours cloudy orange, totally unfiltered, large lacy white head, very attractive brew. Nose is bright tropical fruit hop, very clean and bright single hop aroma (Galaxy). Brett lends a subtle horsey background and complements clean hops extraordinarily well, smells unlike every IPA i’ve had. Taste is clean tropical fruit hop upfront with light funk in aftertaste.
Overall: probably my favorite of the WWB series, though the orange and yellow are phenomenal as well. Will be interested to see how brett affects bright hop character with some age, Chad said he expects it to preserve hop character longer. Regardless of how the Green with age, it is the best of the series fresh out of the bottle. Buy em while you can.

Well this has been my favorite WWB to date. Nice golden pour, white head. Aroma is full of nice juicy hops, some dry leathery notes, yeast, brett funk is noticeable. Flavor is hoppy but not bitter at all. I get a hint of an oniony note...but just light enough to keep it ok. Some funk, earthy notes. Very fun beer to drink. chrisv10 (17446) - DENMARK - NOV 9, 2012
