4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
750ml. Man, i can’t get enough of this beer. Pours cloudy orange, totally unfiltered, large lacy white head, very attractive brew. Nose is bright tropical fruit hop, very clean and bright single hop aroma (Galaxy). Brett lends a subtle horsey background and complements clean hops extraordinarily well, smells unlike every IPA i’ve had. Taste is clean tropical fruit hop upfront with light funk in aftertaste.
Overall: probably my favorite of the WWB series, though the orange and yellow are phenomenal as well. Will be interested to see how brett affects bright hop character with some age, Chad said he expects it to preserve hop character longer. Regardless of how the Green with age, it is the best of the series fresh out of the bottle. Buy em while you can.
750ml bottle thanks to Dave. Pours out a hazy copper amber color topped with a fluffy head. Nose is brett funk barrel oak notes some light floral hops and a little spice. Taste is more of the funky brett notes spice citrus hops and the barrel presents. djd07 (16317) - Houston, Texas, USA - JUL 6, 2016

Bottle thanks to Niels ! Pours a medium golden color with a touch of haze and two plus fingers of white fizzy foam. Lots of hops and funk left in this one. Juniper, mint, spruce, pine, pineapple and horsehair take this one by the reigns and carry it away into the tart funky barnyard filled with dank hop presence. Lots of funky bitterness lingers. Bottle shared at Peg’s. Pale yellow pour with a white head. Floral aromas. Mildly sour with muted citrus, lemongrass, and brett notes. Very good mouthfeel. Good body. A bit hard to describe, but tasty nevertheless... phaleslu (10913) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 25, 2014
750 ml bottle shared by NielsenRatings - thanks, A-A-Ron! Pours a hazy, pale straw with a huge white head. Plenty of funk and florals in this, with straw, crackers, herbs, lemon, and some tropical fruits. Light-bodied, with medium to high carbonation and a tart, funky, bitter, sharp mouthfeel. Very good, but not one of my favorites from the series. GT (10017) - San Diego, California, USA - FEB 24, 2014
