COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Wild Wild Brett Indigo is the sixth installment of the WWB series. WWB Indigo had blueberries added into the fermentation and during barrel aging. Known for their deep indigo color, the blueberries add a tart fruit aroma on top of the earthy Brettanomyces tropical fruit flavors.

Pour is orange gold, transparent, with a tight off white head. The nose is bright with strong Brett and acetic presence. Blueberry blended in pretty nicely with a leathery Brett and soft dusty presence. Taste is solid, blueberry is the focus but not sweet at all with a lighter Brett presence. Dusty and faint leather with a hint of bandaid. Body is light and airy with a solid softer carbonation and a fairly dry finish.

Bottle: The aroma consists of sour lemon, light blueberry, faint tropical fruits, and brett. It pours a murky dull orange with a small off-white head that quickly fades to a thin film outlined by a slightly thicker ring. The flavor starts with a quick dose of blueberry and citrus. The finish has moderate sour lemon and a touch of vanilla. It’s light-medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

UPDATED: APR 25, 2014 Bottle: Thanks, Kevin! Fully murky, copper body with a slightly off-white head. Aroma is Brett-heavy with notes of musty, cobwebs, wet hay, & a light induction of fruit. Taste is nice & tart with a sharp blueberry note, wet hay, lemon, a light acidity, & some funky, almost Brett-like must. A good finishing sourness with ample acidity all the way through. Very nice beer.

Thanks to catman197! Pours a slightly murky light reddish color. Aroma is nice light brett character and berries. Smooth sweet, lightly tart, blueberry, cherry, general berry type flavor. Tartness in the finish, brett does this beer very well. Very tasty, my favorite if the WWB beers I’ve had.

Bottle thanks to pussypete197. Pours a hazy purple-ish color with a white head. Light mouthfeel with a quenching fruit and tart flavor. Finishes with the expected acidity and tartness. Really enjoyable and likely my favorite WWB beer so far. Slight tannins from the wood. Overall very great with a slight touch of alcohol in the finish

Bottle - straw colored pour. Nose of sour funk, fruit, and brett. Taste follows the nose where you do pick up on some of the blueberries. Nice wood notes to go with a dry tart finish. Low to medium acidity. Nice.

Awesome flavor, but has that off undertone that makes the aging seem like a mistake other than souring it up. Great appearance. Harsh soured butter. Not feeling it. OK at best.

11/8/13. 750mL bottle shared by Cody. Thanks, bro! Indigo pour... [:39] Tart aroma, plenty of sour going on in the aroma - can’t say I get much blueberry, but they don’t really smell like anything unless sweetened in pancakes or muffins, right? Tame flavor, more watered down than expected, but still has fruity brett character, sweet tarts, pixie sticks (I’d say of the purple variety - is that grape? Who knows, really). Not too sour - subtle. Nice.

Pretty murky ruby pour with two fingers of white head. Boss nose, estery and super fruity. Raw berry notes and very clean funky tart notes. Awesome flavor, beautiful berry and wild notes. Can’t even describe....Floral, ethereal, delicate, peppery, and light.

750ml bottle via trade. Pours clearish reddish amber with a frothy white head. Aroma of musty wet wood, brett, blueberry and citrus. Flavor is tart and sour up front with some light malt and fruitiness. Medium to light body with active carbonation. Nice beer but the blueberry character is very muted.
