Wild Wild Brett Indigo is the sixth installment of the WWB series. WWB Indigo had blueberries added into the fermentation and during barrel aging. Known for their deep indigo color, the blueberries add a tart fruit aroma on top of the earthy Brettanomyces tropical fruit flavors.

A solid one in the series. This one could use a bigger kick of the blueberry, still very bretty and tasty.

Sample shared at Central Waters anniversary party. Hazy orangish pour. Nose is tart blueberry muffin, slightly floral/citrus. Flavor is initially lightly tart blueberry, but gives way to the dry, leathery brett funk and blueberry skins. Fairly light and dry.

750 ml bottle from adnielsen. Thanks, dude! Pours a richer hazy copper orange hue, almost murky with cakey whitish head. Stays as a firm layer and laces well. Darker body overall. Aromas scream lemon, citrus, funky brett, big bold blueberry skin and tannins. Gentle bready and grainy malts, some straw. Firm bretty funk, cobwebs, dust, blueberry fruit. Tartness, blueberry fruit, nice sour kick. Initial is medium bodied, some nice blueberry fruit, skin. Tartness, decent sour mild kick with firm bretty funk, muffin, yogurt into the middle. Gentle spice, dry funky brett with blueberries, lemon, and tartness. Tartness hits the middle, sourness, lemons, yogurt and blueberry really play well. Backend is funky, dry, gentle fruit and berryskin tannins. Finish is dry, tart, a bit lactic and bretty. Really enjoy this. Mellow sourness, good fruit and blueberry skin, firm bretty flavors. Firm bretty, mellow dough and straw. Pretty nice damn beer. Probably my favorite WWB from the ROYGBIV series thus far.. Let’s see where Violet takes us..

Bottle shared by Adam, Thanks! Pours a deep amber with an offwhite head. The nose is loaded with brett. Cherry, faint blueberry notes, fruity and fresh. Lactic acid hints as well. On tasting, moderately tart, medium bodied. No sweetness left. Not harsh at all. Nice Earthy brett. Really solid overall.

Blueberries are the best fruit flavor in beer. Pours a amber/blue hue with one finger of white foamy head. Aroma is heavy blueberry, nice earthy basementy brett and a tint of vanilla sweetness. Taste is medium tart and a light sweetness that is cleaned up dry in the finish with tons of fruit flavor and wild yeast. GREAT

A - Insanely cloudy. Ruby red 3 finger fluffy reddish head. Faded to almost nothing

S - Nose is all blueberry. A hint of vinegar but not much.

T - Taste is insanely fruity. Lovely blueberry tastes. Lemon peel and grape skins. Very little vinegar to taste.

A - 3 finger slightly off white head. Slightly cloudy muted purple appearance. Looks like a lighter blueberry tint of every other blueberry sour I’ve had.

S - More Blueberry than I experienced on tap..probably just the glass. Still a lot of grape skins and more vinegar.

T - Vinegar taste, grape skins and blueberry tartness.

M - Medium carbonation, light body. Very lingering in the fruitiness

O - Bottle is superior to tap on this one. Bottle conditioning? Probably

750ml bottle. Thanks to Adam for sharing... Pours a mostly opaque medium copper penny hue and topped with a thinnish soapy white head... Bretty pineapple presence with must. Berry fruit to go along with the preceding... Flavors are more of the same with a more sour tart quality going on. Bretty must throughout. Kind of nice overall. Medium bodied or just shy thereof with light and lively carbonation.
