Pour is a hazed golden amber with a bubbly off white head. Nose is light on brett, fairly balanced floral presence, juicy citrus and a nice aroma of leathery Brett and pineapple brett. Taste is much more sour than anticipated, hop presence isn’t really there, Brett is much stronger with pineapple and citrus. Floral notes are a touch lighter mid palate. Finish is sour and tart of pomegranate, very dry with strong carbonation and light airy body. Leathery brett lies through the middle and lingers through the finish. Good stuff. berntholer (1618) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - FEB 16, 2014
ivorywhite head that disappears quite fast. orange murky colour. aroma of passionfruit, funky, grapefruit, bit sulphur. taste like aroma, lemonjuice like sour with a wry aftertaste. medium body and carbonation, hey, where did the violet go?? bottle 75 cl / batch 8/12 JBPortland (1557) - Hampton Roads, Virginia, USA - SEP 28, 2014
750ml bottle huge thanks to adnielsen and Lukaduke! Pours reddish orange with big head. Nose is beautiful bright juicy pomegranate, grape, and floral bretty fruit funk, dusty wood. Taste is wonderful ripe juicy pomegranate and tropical berry funk, some floral grape and musty hay. Finish holds lingering juicy floral vinous fruit, basement funk, and semi sweet pomegranate. May be best of the set at this point. italarican (1549) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 12, 2014
Bottle generously shared by Nielsen at the RBWG grand tasting. There’s definitely some dryhopping going on in this bad boy. Nose punches you with citra-family hops and a brett dryness. Flavor is more simplistic of acidic lemon. Very nice. olr1984 (1500) - fort wayne, Indiana, USA - OCT 9, 2013

On draught at 2013 Portland Fruit Beer Festival. Hazy deep golden color. Funky yeast and tart fruit aroma. Great tart farmhouse flavor with hints of passionfruit. Really satisfying and complex. peteinSD (1469) - San Diego, California, USA - NOV 8, 2013
Bottle from the very generous Scott - thanks! Glowing light copper orange color in the glass with a slick of white foam. Aroma is clean brett with noticeable lavender, underlying sweet fruit, and a crisp lemon tart through the finish. Taste is dry, clean brett with a vibrant collection of sweet fruit, slight lavender, and a complimentary floral element. Touch of lemon and even some minimal funk in there as well. Quite amazing how clean and distinct the brett is and how it acts like a stage for the other ingredients. Crisp, dry mouthfeel. Unique and very good. UPDATED: JUL 9, 2013 Light and delicate; complex floral notes beautifully showcase fruit & flowers among the Brett. Violets and lavender are easily identifiable start to finish. Pomegranates show themselves towards the end, contributing to the fruited acidity. Excellent. sherm1016 (1274) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 30, 2013
Having this again, I’m bumping the rating up a little. Intricate, delicate, meticulously crafted; demonstrates mastery of the art of brewing.
750ml bottle, courtesy of Aaron. Thanks! Split with my bride. Pours a cloudy orange amber color with a white head. Aroma is fruity, papaya, mango, freshly bloomed flowers. Light to medium on the palate with light, soft carbonation. Flavor is lightly sour, citrusy, grapefruit, but not in the normal hoppy way, more flowers, with a light, tart finish. Excellent.
