Pours thick dark unclear with a beautiufl creamy dark caramel colored head. Aroma is lighter with a bit of creamy mocha and bitterness. Body is really nice and creamy with notes of mocha that are quite pleasant on the tongue. Body is lighter as well, but enjoyed! Macegan75 (846) - Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 26, 2014

Imperial stout #100. Bottle from coldbrewky, many thanks. Almost black color with thick beige head. Aroma of roasted coffee, dark chocolate, roasted malt, dark fruits. Taste is not so heavy as usual by imperial stouts, but still impressive and has roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee, caramel. Very tasty imperial stout.
Bottle shared by Cuso. Aroma roasted, strong caramel and dark fruits. Almost black colour, brown head. Taste is quite strongly sweet with chocolate. Warming touch of alcohol, but not too much. Fruits towards finish. Nicely drinkable, exquisite (though not too traditional) example of the style.

On tap at Peekskill Brewery, in their new and rather gorgeous location. Pours a deep black with a medium sized dens tan head. Big heavy roast on the nose, cocoa and chocolate. Medium to thick bodied, big roast and cocoa. Gorgeous body here, lots of roast, cocoa, chocolate, a touch of plum and the faintest bit of alcohol peeking through. Very straightforward and full of roast, chocolate, and cocoa, Warming alcohol into the finish, even more cocoa and roast. Amazing stuff. Well done Hutch! coldbrewky (1730) - Hippetown East, New York, USA - DEC 13, 2012
The first Imperial Stout release from Crossroads. Thanks Hutch! A lovely black in the snifter with a dense dark tan head. Variable lacing. Nose could be a bit stronger although the undulating and robust flavor profile is delightful. Wavy deep tones of dark malt plateau in mid quaff to gentle chocolate with cream slickness. Great with the local hot dogs on Wiener Wednesday!
