0,75 l bottle from my friend coldbrewky, many thanks Steve. Dark brown color with huge beige head. Aroma of dark malt, Belgian yeast, caramel, spices, some spices. Taste, sweet malt, yeast, brown sugar, spices, raisins, caramel. Almost no bitterness. Little bit more on sweet side, but tasty.

My Bottom Line:
Grape jujubes and other agave-like fruity sugars evolve in a fluffy, rich mouthfeel, melding into pumpernickel bread allusions and subtle milk chocolate.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A creamy slice of foam tops the dark brown gown.
-Alcohol warmth and high effervescence help offset the portly residual sugars.
-Some hop resins appear in the finish.
-This was a very nice Quad-like dessert of a brew. Quite impressive for a new bottler!

Bottle. Thx Steve!

750mL. Pours a muddy, deep brown; big head formation, huge retention and lace. Nose is celery, minerals, tomato. Taste is sugar, maple, mint, sweet and spicy. Not sure what this was supposed to be.

Shared by beerandblues2. Thanks Brad. The beer is cola brown with a soft beige head. The aroma offers Belgian yeast, malt, booze, oak, sweet breads. The flavor imparts brown bread, malt, sweet yeasty esters. Medium bodied. This was pretty good, but eclipsed by many beers of this ilk brewed in Belgium.

Thanks to Beerandblues2. A bit of bread and caramel malt. Carbonation is too high. Some light earthiness in the background.

Bottle received via trade with coldbrewky. Pours clear brown with a medium, creamy light tan head, medium retention and good lacing. Aroma is dates, oak, cellar, caramel and cookie malt with earthy hops. Flavor is malt dominant with light hops and bitterness, alcohol warmth and spices with dark fruity esters and a sweet finish. Full body and medium carbonation.

BCTC Pour. 20 month aged in the keg. No head, some legs, deep dark burnt caramel scent. Very malty and chewy. Lots of candied sugar, some vanilla, oranges. Some smoked malts. Hint of spices.
