On tap at Crossroads. Pours a clear orange hued amber with a medium sized white head. Smells like toast. Not like toasty malt, but straight up like a piece of toasted bread. Hutch, how you do that? Warm toasted barley, a faint hoppy background. Spicy hops up front over some warm barley tea notes, toasty and crisp. Long crisp bitterness with more toasted barley. Absolutely lovely beer. Draft at brewpub with dinner. Ahhh. An all day drinker! mellow gold in the glass with a thin white head. Nose of malt and whispy hay. Hops appear secondarily on nose.....nice. Undulating gentle body mixes with malt light caramel and then hop to assist in washing down the always tasty macaroni and cheese in a cast iron skillet. I should have got a few growlers of this to go. Awesome.
