on tap into my mug. Slightly darker than tan hue capped by a light foamy head with good retention. Scent was clean with malt, biscuit, light raisen. Taste pretty much followed in order with a bit of slight roastiness. Mouth was light bodied. Quiet a complex session beer here.
Growler. Pours a lightly hazed amber with a thin soapy head that is gone by the second sip and leaves no lace. Weak aroma of malt and not much else. The flavor is weak, watery malt, slightly sweet, followed by very mild bitterness at the finish. Thin, watery body. Disappointing. j12601 (12974) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - JAN 13, 2014
On tap for growler fills at Half Time. Pours a clear copper tinged amber with a medium to large white to beige head. Sweet malt on the nose. Medium-bodied, a bit sweet and nutty, nice malt backbone. Gentle bitterness into the finish. Really easy drinking. snoworsummer (5915) - baltimore, Maryland, USA - DEC 23, 2013
Draft at the brewery. Pours hazy medium brown with a thin off white head. Tastes creamy and bready, but watery with not much flavor. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like faint malt and grains. sonnycheeba (6214) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - DEC 23, 2013
Tap at brewery. Pours hazy dark amber with creamy off-white head. Aroma is caramel and cookie malts, dates, light floral notes, and candy sugar. Flavor is chewy malt base, caramel sweetness, some dark fruit esters, and faint woody notes; semi-sweet finish. Light body and low carbonation.
