Outrage is an IPA (India Pale Ale) featuring the robust and assertive flavors of American hops balanced by a slightly sweet malt body and high alcohol content. We use only the highest quality English malts to create a bright copper color and smooth rich body for this ale. Maris Otter Pale Malt, Crystal Malt, and a small addition of Wheat Malt supply the backbone and alcohol sweetness that help balance out this beer. However hops are the real feature of Outrage. Simcoe,Cascade, Centennial, Amarillo and Citra hops are added throughout the brewing process to yield an assertive hop bitterness reminiscent of grapefruit, a fruity and sweet hop flavor, and a complex aroma with notes of citrus(orange, tangerine and grapefruit), spice, and earthiness. Dry hopping (adding hops directly to the tank during the fermentation process) helps to further accentuate the wonderful and unique aromas of the five American hop varieties. Look for huge flavor and aroma from Outrage Ale with a noticeable “kick” from the alcohol content.

Draught @ Blind Tiger. Clear rich yellow with small foamy white head, grapefruit aroma, medium carbonation, grapefruit taste with medium bitter finish. Quite a nice IPA.

On draught at the brewpub. Arrived a lightly hazed gold with a moderate linen white head that left partial lace. Very pleasant aroma of grapefruit and mango. The flavor is pale malt that is quickly washed over by strong fruity grapefruit bitterness. Some pine present as well with a little bit of mango too. The bitterness lingers on the palate well beyond the swallow. Medium bodied.

Draught @ Recovery: This one pours a clear, orangish golden color. There was a small white head and some lacing. It has a lighter nose. Grapefruit and pine, and maybe some spiciness. The taste is good. A smaller hop bite, mainly of grapefruit and pine. Some spice. Decent body. Just rates an OK.

Very nice floral hop aroma. Great balance with the malt as well. Bit of pine in the finish but overall a great ipa. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Such a really solid IPA. One of my favorite, just a plus that is is brewed locally and I can get it on tap at almost any bar I go to. Full of hops, but also has a nice drinkability to it, I could drink it all night, and I have. Has a full citrusy burst, almost everything yo would expect from an IPA. West coasty style but most balanced. Highly recommend.

Draft at the brewery. Pours hazy copper gold with a thin beige head. Tastes very hoppy, dry, spiced, like grapefruit and pine. Low/medium body and carbonation. Smells like sweet orange, pine, and musk.

Tap at brewery. Pours mostly clear amber with creamy off-white head. Aroma is floral and grassy notes, citrus fruit, cereal and cookie malts, and light toast. Flavor is dry malts forward quickly followed by floral hop and grapefruit bitterness with faint caramel notes underneath; dry finish with a touch of lingering bitterness. Medium body and low carbonation.

Orange pour,.nice head, thins quickly, good lacing. Aroma of resinous pine, some citrus, even floral. Flavor.followed.with spicey notes and earthy malt base. Mouthfeel is full, strong bitterness, quite a pleasant surprise of an ipa. Well done. Reminded me of flower power for whatever reason.
