on tap at my local spot, poured into a pint glass
a: light carmel/amber color. nice sticky 1/2" head with good retention. Reduzes nicely into lacing. Lacing rings the glass with each gulp.
s: grapefruit, bitter orange, caramel
t: nice caramel malt backbone gives way to cutting citrus bitterness boasting with grapefruit, orange and slight pine. Excellent!!!
m&d: medium bodied, drying mouth from the hops. Drinkable, but not really sessionable.
on cask at the madison pour house. while likely better on tap, still a ton of hop flavour and aroma. luttonm (6984) - Seattle, Washington, USA - APR 26, 2016
Draft at Blind Tiger, NYC. Clear gold-browns small tan head. Crisp soapy-earth hops. Clean bitter, crisp beer. Amber honey bite. Quite nice. trapped (3801) - New York, TURKEY - AUG 26, 2015
Draught @ Blind Tiger. Clear rich yellow with small foamy white head, grapefruit aroma, medium carbonation, grapefruit taste with medium bitter finish. Quite a nice IPA. beerbill (3619) - Laurel, New York, USA - OCT 19, 2014
On draught at the brewpub. Arrived a lightly hazed gold with a moderate linen white head that left partial lace. Very pleasant aroma of grapefruit and mango. The flavor is pale malt that is quickly washed over by strong fruity grapefruit bitterness. Some pine present as well with a little bit of mango too. The bitterness lingers on the palate well beyond the swallow. Medium bodied. boto (2283) - Granby, Connecticut, USA - OCT 11, 2014
Draught @ Recovery: This one pours a clear, orangish golden color. There was a small white head and some lacing. It has a lighter nose. Grapefruit and pine, and maybe some spiciness. The taste is good. A smaller hop bite, mainly of grapefruit and pine. Some spice. Decent body. Just rates an OK.

Very nice floral hop aroma. Great balance with the malt as well. Bit of pine in the finish but overall a great ipa.

Such a really solid IPA. One of my favorite, just a plus that is is brewed locally and I can get it on tap at almost any bar I go to. Full of hops, but also has a nice drinkability to it, I could drink it all night, and I have. Has a full citrusy burst, almost everything yo would expect from an IPA. West coasty style but most balanced. Highly recommend. snoworsummer (6285) - baltimore, Maryland, USA - DEC 23, 2013
Draft at the brewery. Pours hazy copper gold with a thin beige head. Tastes very hoppy, dry, spiced, like grapefruit and pine. Low/medium body and carbonation. Smells like sweet orange, pine, and musk. sonnycheeba (6561) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - DEC 23, 2013
Tap at brewery. Pours mostly clear amber with creamy off-white head. Aroma is floral and grassy notes, citrus fruit, cereal and cookie malts, and light toast. Flavor is dry malts forward quickly followed by floral hop and grapefruit bitterness with faint caramel notes underneath; dry finish with a touch of lingering bitterness. Medium body and low carbonation. User37895 (3085) - - OCT 21, 2013
Orange pour,.nice head, thins quickly, good lacing. Aroma of resinous pine, some citrus, even floral. Flavor.followed.with spicey notes and earthy malt base. Mouthfeel is full, strong bitterness, quite a pleasant surprise of an ipa. Well done. Reminded me of flower power for whatever reason.
