3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask conditioned handpump The Rake London. A brown beer with a slight haze and an off-white head. decent citrus fruit in the nose, grapefruit to the fore. Orangey bitterness in the mouth with a fairly sweet but not spoiling malt. Tastes bigger than its ABV, hence there’s a tendency towards chewiness but it is pretty nice.
