Mid brown colour and slightly bitter. Some dryness in a roast finish. Ungstrup (38986) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUN 30, 2005
[Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen] A red beer with a light brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel. The flavor is very nutty and slightly acidic combined with notes of wood and berries, leading to a dry end. The body is a little thin. MiP (16055) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - JUN 22, 2005
Cask. Roasty, smokey aroma. Very dark brown colour, stable white head. Nicely roasted flavour, fawcett malt? Aftertaste is a little watery, but with a little fruit and mold. DanielBrown (4567) - Birmingham (via Leicester), West Midlands, ENGLAND - JUN 7, 2005
Hand pulled at Out of the Vaults, Leicester. Toasty brow colour, with a bit of froth. Tobacco notes. Sweaty, thinnish Mild, with some spaced-out coco. A tinge of tropicality, otherwise fairly smooth amd plain. OK, but not as good as Crouch Vale’s Blackwater Mild. Emil (6064) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUN 6, 2005
CASK. Dark red brown colour with a small baige head. Weak malty light roasted aroma and a mild round light roasted light sweet taste. Medium body and a light dry finish.

Cask conditioned. Reddish, brown appearance. Very mild and soft. The flavour is very roasted and smoked a bit. A pleasant beer. Hildigöltur (5103) - København, DENMARK - JUN 5, 2005
[Cask conditioned] Inferior Paint Job. Beautiful dark reddish brown coloured. Malty aroma with notes of molasses. Very mild and malty flavour with some sweetness. Slightly thin. A nice but very mild mild ale. I expected a little bit more from Crouch Vale.
