Cask gravity @ Reading Beer Festival 2008.
Clear light to medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is light malty, toasted, moderate hoppy, flowers, grass, citrus - grape. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, refreshing. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. (020508)

[Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen] A hazy orange beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet and lovely hoppy - leaning a little towards flowers. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, on a dry hoppy backdrop, where even the hop oils makes their presence. An English re-make of an American IPA - a really good beer - to make it great the ABV should be higher.

Cask at Charlies. Cæear golden coloured with a small white head. Sweet aroma of caramel, malts, fruits and hops. Fruity flavour of caramel, peaches and hops with notes of grape fruits. Dry hoppy finish. Nice.

Cask conditioned at Cockney Pub, Århus
Hazy deep blond color; big creamy head (nitrogen?). It has at first a nice aroma of earthy hops. A smooth mouthfeel, with some malt and caramel flavor, and a good bitterness. Good, but not magic as the old Crouch Vale production.

Cask handpull at Dog & Bell, Deptford. Yeasty citrus aroma. Expected more hops. Has a bit of sherbertyness and tingly finish, but I wanted more.

[email protected] Judges, Glasgow. Dark golden color, small white head. Nice pinewoody hoppy nose. Crisp, well-hopped flavor, some "dunk" notes somewhere there. Burnt, not roasted, malts.

Cask (Gallows Bird, Espoo, RealAle05)
Rich gold, tiny head. Sweet malty and citrusy aroma. Big citrussy bite in the taste. Grapefruit, but also some ginger too. A little bit bitter for Anna, but really pressed my buttons. Should rerate.

Cask, gravity dispense at Woodford Beer Festival at The Duke, Woodford, Northants, 25-05-07. Poured light amber in colour with a nice hoppy aroma. Taste was initially a bit soapy, don’t know where that came from but I tried this twice at different times of the day and still got a soapy taste, once you got past that it was a reasonable bitter that had good hoppy characteristics but otherwise fell short in many other areas.
