3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Dark brown with bubbly head. The aroma is lightly chocolatey but with a bit of butter. On the palate, this is an old school fruity porter, with raisins, liquorices, plums and that sort of thing. Ok, but the specific flavours are not that compelling to me.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draught at the Malthouse Wellington. In a series of porters and stouts, this was my favorite. It is a liquid bread character. More specifically, it has a raisin bread crust flavor that is delightful. The palate is just right. Drinkable, sessionable, easy on the tongue, good body.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Ruby-tinged dark brown with earthy spicy blackberries and licorice on the nose. Medium bodied, light carbonation fairly sweet licorice blackcurrant sweets up front with a dry finish.
