Golden pour with a thin white head. Passionfruit, peach and light citrus aroma. Similar taste, slightly malty too. Low bitterness, very easy going down. thb (836) - Alberta, CANADA - JUN 18, 2013
Clear copper, minimal head (as in almost none). Aroma is fruity hops - citrus, tropicals, flowers. Add grain, cereal once you drink some. Nice progression from grains to citrus, to a dry, mildly bitter finish. Hop aroma is less than some but it is still a refreshing, balanced drink. Amber, thin head, only a slight haze. Floral blackberry, lavender. Earthy, slightly sweet caramel, still w floral hop. simonblaine (593) - Alberta, CANADA - MAY 3, 2013
Pours orange with a head that disappears quickly. Fruity earthy aroma, initial taste is sweet fruit, changes to citrus peel, aftertaste is back to being fruity. Enjoyed

Bottle from mane liquor. Pours a darkish hazy orange with bubbly head. Aromas heavy of tropical fruits. Taste is fresh juicy hops and passionfruit, mango etc with slight biscuit at the end. Pretty solid pale ale ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

At first, a solid and sessionable performer. Fantastic aroma, first sip tastes like you are sucking the flesh from peach stones, then as you swalow, a delicious green grassy bitterness rushes forward from the back of your throat and all dopamine receptors are engaged. But then marks off because the fantastic aroma was gone before I’d finished half a glass, and the flavour, instead of opening up over time, started compressing in on itself and losing a lot of its initial top-end sparkle. Still tasted better than most beers can only dream of, though. If it had held its initial aroma and taste, this would have been one of my favourites for sure. I’ll get another one soon. Clear pale amber with slight off-whitehead. Earthy red berry nose, gentle carbonation, slight fruit in body with balancing malt and swee tfinish.
"Serious beer" not so much, "interactive beer" a bit. "Likeable beer", for sure. This, I think, is my first Croucher Beer, and I’m a bit impressed.
I get the passionfruit, I also get a toffee thing, and I for sure get grassiness.
However it isn’t a beer that that I think I could al my faith in, but as a time an place thing and with food as a side this would be a great afternoon in. RyanE (145) - British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 5, 2012
Caught the aroma of hops while pouring the golden brown liquid in the glass. Medium hops. I have tried a few Kiwi beers and like the hop varieties they use. Bitter finish balances with the sweet malt. Each sip cleanses the palate. Very good beer. VertBaconStrips (2402) - Blerkablerka, VENEZUELA - SEP 7, 2012
Roche Miette looms. Let make this uber quick: mild amber, foamy off white head rims. Air holes: grass, fragrant floral, teh wonderfulness of Nelson with a touch of watermelon. Flap: Yum! Fruits - dirty things like orange or whatever, mild lemon, faint spice, grass, love the bitter level - soft yet demanding at the same time, tropical things. Quietly complex. Wonderful. Going to have to check the price on this one next time. Get it! It’s got Nelson hops - you need nothing else in your life.
