"Serious beer" not so much, "interactive beer" a bit. "Likeable beer", for sure. This, I think, is my first Croucher Beer, and I’m a bit impressed.
I get the passionfruit, I also get a toffee thing, and I for sure get grassiness.
However it isn’t a beer that that I think I could al my faith in, but as a time an place thing and with food as a side this would be a great afternoon in.
On tap. Lots of resin, hops and a little caramel. Flavour is overly bitter, and the aftertaste is a little metallic. Not great. tombutlin (370) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - OCT 29, 2016
UPDATED: MAR 25, 2017 Really good balance and fruitiness - more of a session beer than a flavour bomb. Quite fruity aroma and smooth bitterness. Really good mouthfeel Skarecrow (1045) - North Shore, Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - JUL 5, 2016
330ml bottle BB 15/3/2017
Cereal bready aroma.
Pours amber with good head and nice lacing.
Low bitterness that doesn’t hang around and the finish just drops away to nothing. Also got a touch of cardboard in aroma and taste.
Underwhelming. mabel (10004) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 19, 2016
[8220-20160510] Tap. Toasted grains aroma has a light smokey bread note. Clear, amber orange body with a long-lasting creamy white head. Bitter grainy floral leaf hops flavour. Medium body. Good. (7/3/6/3/13) 3.2

2016-05-10. Crisp amber body with a small off white head. Aroma is mild, a bit grainy. Flavour is a bit muddled, lightly grainy cereal malt, moderate fruit throughout. Muted melon rind in the finish alternates between lovely and a touch rough. Average bodied palate, moderate carbonation. Okay, 6/3/6/3/12 On tap at Brew, Rotorua, NZ.

Amber color, bit hazy, small frothy head, awesome lacing. Sweet and fruity in aroma. Passionfruit especially easy to notice, but aroma itself is definitely not intense enough. Taste is not surprisingly all about passion fruit. Typical characteristic notes of this fruit. Beer is fresh, crisp, refreshing. Very drinkable, quite pleasant. blipp (9903) - La Mesa, California, USA - OCT 9, 2015
Draft. Pours orange with a white head. Mild sweet malts, faint toast, flowery hops, and light fruity notes. Decent. vanvenlo (1923) - Glen Iris, AUSTRALIA - JUL 21, 2015

Pours a copper gold with a dense offwhite head. Citrus and caramel aromas. Touch of honey. Flavours are a mix of caramel and grapefruit. A bitter finish, balanced between sweet and dry. Some astringency lingers in the mouthfeel. Lagerboy (2239) - British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 15, 2014
500 ml bottle. Clear red copper, off-white foam settles and mostly vanishes. Aroma of lightly toasted caramel malt and tropical fruity hop. Taste is lightly toasted caramel malt, lightly bitter herbal floral hop, faintly fruity. Softer than average carbonation, light-medium bodied, moderately hopped. Gets fruitier as it warms, tropical even, some citrus, slightly vinous. LBW (Lagerboys Be Wary)
