COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Named for the ridiculous 4 foot dirt pile we had to put our brewery on to get us out of the FEMA-designated 100 year floodplain (no-one can remember this part of Spearfish ever flooding). This robust porter is black in color, is medium-bodied and has a rich, roasted malt flavor ending with a pleasing hop flavor and mild hop bitterness.

Draft sample. Black in colour with medium carbonation. Aromas are of roasted malt, dark chocolate, red grape, and a bit of caramel. More of that vineous and chocolate combo in the mouth, with a bit of a coffee note coming into play as well. Medium bodied with a slightly ashy finish. A well made classic interpretation.

Can shared by BVery! Dark brown pour, a little ring of carbonation and an aroma of sweet milk chocolate and a little peat. Flavor is medium malt, chocolate and a little dirt and a bit nutty on the finish. Id buy this.
