Clear dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, burnt malt, coffee - coffee dusty, ash. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, ash, burnt, dark roasted, malt bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. 
12 fl oz bottle. Pours dark brown with a deep golden glare and a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty and light chocolate. Roasted and chocolate dense malty. Light liqourice and toasted. Tasting at Bruce’s Pad. South Dakota tick! Thanks Ryan! Murky dark brown beer with a tidy pale tan head. Palate is light and crispy. Light and sweet dark malts with a little not so sweet chocolate. A little ripe orange. Light dry finish. Not bad.

Can shared at Bruce’s in London - huge thanks to Ryan for this one! Pours clear brown with a creamy tan head. Toasty dark malt nose, some chocolate, burnt leaves, hints of dried fruits. Light to medium sweet flavor, semi-dry chocolate, dried berries, rich toasted brown bread. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Can shared at my 5K tasting at Bruce’s pad, huge thanks to Ryan for leaving this state whale with us to tick the fuck out of SD, 13/11/13.
Very dark mahogony brown with a light tan covering that thins to a swirl.
Nose is dark toffee, earthy tones, light cocoa, mineral notes.
Taste comprises light roast, treacle toffee, brown sugars, brown bread, earthy cocoa.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying finale with light roast.
Ok porter but that was not what this tick was all about !
