Can (big thanks to my friend Mike for getting this for me!); pours clear amber with a quickly dissipating white head; aroma of chilies with some hints of caramel and bread; taste is chilies with some bread, caramel, and herbal notes; dry finish with some warming from the chilies mybrainhurts (400) - North Dakota, USA - JUN 15, 2017
Aroma of chili oil and grassy malts. Flavors of faint green peppers and dry bread. Should have more bite, a bit disappointing overall. rosenbergh (11753) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 1, 2016
Draught at the Crow Peak Brewing Co, Spearfish, SD.
Clear deep amber golden color with no head.
Chili, vegetables and earth in the aroma.
The flavor is vegetables, mild chili, earth, sweetness and malt. Chili is surprisingly mellow.

Sample from can at the Great Nebraska Beer Fest. Poured amber, white head. Aroma was pepper, fresh garden. Taste was sweet, some heat, would like more heat. sodakotakid (230) - Belle Fourche, South Dakota, USA - NOV 11, 2013
The 2013 WICA has a stronger pepper flavor then previous years. This beer is very good the best chili beer I’ve had to date.

Draft at the source. Clear amber color, thick but small white head, solid lacing. Aroma of caramel wIth a slight whiff of peppers. Chilis are very subtle in the taste as well. Nice balance. Finally, a tolerable chili beer!
