Grei.
Small beige head. Hazy opaque dark brown body. Caramelly perfumy vanilla aroma with earthy roasty notes. Vaguely artificial. Dry-sweet massively artificial perfumy vanilla taste drowns everything. Light body. Mild mealy mouthfeel. Dryish roasty perfumy vanilla aftertaste with sickly toffee notes. Yuk. Way overdone vanilla. (0.2l draft at brewpub.) Foffern (1879) - Bodø, NORWAY - MAR 25, 2013
On tap at Crowbar. Has a nut brown color with a little beige head. The aroma is full of leather, nuts, dried fruit and vanilla. The flavour has a good dose of vanilla, almost like vanilla ice cream. In addition, I find wood, leather, lactose and some brownies. Ends a little dry. Has a soft and smooth mouthfeel, and a light bitterness. The beer is good and sweet, a bit on the edge for being too sweet, but it’s fine. Arve_Christian (5143) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAR 25, 2013
On tap at the brewery . Dark brown color , good offwhite foam. Intense vanilla, good fruitiness . Medium body & complexity . Some bitterness- ok balance. Enjoyable- but not really my thing

200ml on tap, chilled down a bit too far at the brewpub. Muddy dark body, filmy layer, leaving spotty lacing to the glass. Quite prominent aroma of vanilla and dark malts. Taste of vanilla, caramel and sweet Christmas spices. Balanced by hop bitterness towards the finish. Satisfying (Oslo, 22.02.2013).

Hazy brown. Sweet, lots of vanilla, cocoa. Liquid brownies. Not unpleasant, but it is too much on the sweet cookie side to be a serious beer. Bart (2938) - Brussels, BELGIUM - FEB 23, 2013
Draught @ Crowbar og Bryggeri. Murkey brown hazy coloured beer with some very light carbonation and a short off white head. Very special vanilla creamy almost chocolat malty sweet malty aroma. Stange to say the least but not bad actually. Full creamy palate. Again sweeter vanilla hinted Finish. Reminds me in the distant of a vanilla chocolate ice-cream, but in a good way. Very strange but I lik this a lot actually. Best beer of the sample I had at crowbar. daje (4436) - NORWAY - FEB 14, 2013
On tap at brewpub, january 26th 2013. Hazy dark brown, large creamy light brown head, proper brown ale appearance. Aroma is roasty, sweet, quite heavy vanilla without going over the top. Taste is vanilla dominated with coffee notes. It seems to me there’s used real vanilla as the taste has a goos dry structure and is not oversweetened, which makes this quite a drinkable beer. Nicely done! visionthing (5363) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - FEB 6, 2013
On tap at Crowbar & Bryggeri, Oslo. Hazy brown with an off-white head. At first when I smelled it I thought someone had dropped an entire box of vanilla sugar in the beer, but... Anyway heavy vanilla aroma which is quite dominating, some roasted malt and caramel too. Quite sweet, and very desserty, feels a bit artificial. Finishes quite dry. Decent, but not quite my kind of beer. (2013-02-03) Cunningham (7975) - Halden, NORWAY - FEB 5, 2013
Appearance: Cloudy dark amber color with a off white head. Good lacing.
Aroma: Caramel malt, roasted malt and vanilla.
Palate: Medium light body. Slightly sweet and a low bitterness. Creamy carbonation.
Taste: Vanilla suger bomb on a fine malty background. Coffee and some roasted notes.
Overall impression: Funny beer. Nice project. Would be perfect to a dessert. Just a little bit thin texture.
